I’m trying to build one of these so I can go into the field and bring out the crops when it’s harvested. Can you please guide me on the equipment you used and what is the load capacity? I’m bringing out loads up to 2500lbs.
@oldtractorandcats635218 күн бұрын
well i just had the mast from a small for lift from the video you can see the addition of the 3 point for the tractor im not sure of the capacity f the mast i bouoght it second hand off the lift already the 3 point lift capacity will dictate more of your load then the mast cylinder and the size of your tractor also keep the load low as possible at all times is a must for safety you can go on tractor data and find almost any tractor info specs for lifa and such if you have quesion or dont know thanks for watching like and subscribe

how does that steering differ from any other JD350?
@oldtractorandcats6352Ай бұрын
@andrewh5988 it has two hydraulic cylinders online with the steering levers that accurate the steering same as standard but instead of pulling harder the steering is easy by the hydraulics the final drives and clutches are all the same

I’ve got a B414 gas model . It is a fine running tractor. It is easy to get your foot tangled up trying to get on and off haha. They are good tractors
@ronniep1376Ай бұрын
I got a b414 several years ago that the guy was going to scrap . He could not get the starter rebuilt . No one could find parts for it. He was tired of pulling it off to crank it. I got the tractor really cheap and took the starter to a starter and alternator rebuild place , they could not find any parts for it either. I got them to write all the part numbers down that was inside of the starter and I got online and started my search. It was a British Lucas starter. I ordered new armature , windings, and brushes from England . Carried all that to them and they built it . Had approximately $175 in starter due to parts shipping cost . Tractor crank right up , been using it for 12 years now with no issues. Eventually that starter will need rebuilt or replaced, if you know of one that will work sold here in US I’d love to know about it . Thanks

If you're going to be doing much woods work you might want to invest in a log hog tractor they were made in Louisiana and they have a belly pan,cab and blade some have a winch on the back and a choice of hydraulic operated grabbs or tongs and some had a grapple very handy machine we have been using them for our logging business for over 25 years ours is a ford but Massey also made them i have a few videos of log hogs on my channel if you're curious

@@oldtractorandcats6352 the last log hog we bought was 2500 dollars it had the blad skid pan and cab but no grapple on the back we had an extra grapple because one of our log hogs burned so now it's fully operational it was located in Lily Louisiana

That would make a good loader tractor i have a John Deere 302 industrial that looks similar to that

The cross over is pluged on mine and when it ran out of fuel the brass fitting pluged up and caued the exact problem you have. I had to take it loose and clean it about 3 times in a week. Its good now, equalizer tube is still pluged but i just keep it full and dont worry about it.

My grandpa was a cat lover and him and my grandma had 4 dogs and 12 cats. They had their own room in the basement and my grandpa made a couch for visiting the cats and he brought a large sceen TV with cable so the cats could watch nature shows on KZbin. He built a kitchen so he can make his tea and be with his fur babies. He loved fishing and hanging out with the cats on the farm. They would follow him around while he did farm work because they were barn cats they kept the farm clean from rodents. He had three cats with him on the tractor at all times, they were the elders of the group. Once all 12 cats got together to chase away a large fox and they were like a pack of lions, rounded the fox up in a circle and pounced, they let it go and it never returned. But they never hurt racoons, they would share their food and water with the raccoons. It was funny. The dogs were lazy and didn't do much, they loved the cats too they would nap together in a big pile. We had multiple cat houses and dog houses on the farm with heated floors and AC. The cows liked visiting the cats too they would bathe them and lad down in grass with them. I loved being on the farm. I miss my grand daddy so much. ❤

How are the hydraulics set up? I’m doing a similar thing. My mast has hydro up and gravity down. Do you have a backflow diverter or do the fluid just back drive? Thanks for any input you might have.
@oldtractorandcats63527 ай бұрын
You just need the one line it works fine the fluid seems to exit just fine on the down stroke
