I wasnt brought up in the glorious Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. I feel l am a prized possession of the Lord's true church. I was a convert. I was schooled listening to hallowed Apostles and Prophets of this divine church. I made meagre income, l was rich, however being blessed to hear these golden tapes by Apostles . H B Brown's voice is as familiar to me as was my own father's. I knew NOT whom God was, until l learned of the golden plates and sweet Joseph ❤Smith. He lives, Christ lives. Members of the Lord's church are blessed with the incredible gift of the Holy Ghost, personally given after our baptism. I often feel cut down by the world's scoffed, they are ignorant through their own pride. l am thankful when our Lord cuts me back, cuts me back. I so testify.. 🇬🇧

What an amazing talk and a man of God

This talk made me weep while driving home today. The spirit was so strong when he told his experience as a young boy in the farm and correlated it with the experience he had as a young man. Truly God is the gardener and he knows what’s best for us because he is our father, he who literally created us in his image. I was impressed by the statement that i’ll paraphrase which is that God sometimes cuts off things in our life because he knows that we’re capable of things much more. God literally knows our worth because we’re instilled with divine heritage. Glory be to our father !!

At one time, I also believed that our existence began at birth. I have come to know that before we are born, we existed as Heavenly Father's spirit children. Yes, we existed in what is known as the pre-existence. We jumped for joy at the opportunity we had to come to Earth and receive a physical body and to learn to have faith in our Heavenly Father. We had to pass through a veil of forgetfulness when we came to Earth. We don't remember our lives before Earth. It wouldn't be much of a test if we remembered everything. Our Earfh life is our time to learn to have faith, to go through trials and to see if we will be obedient to God. The reason I know all this is true is because the Holy Spirit has testified to me that it is true. God loves all His children and wants them to know truth. The devil is the father of lies and wants to deceive and destroy God's children. He wants us to be miserable like he is. If you sincerely want to know the truth, you can do what James 1:5 says and ask in prayer. The Holy Ghost will manifest the truth to you. You will have af feeling of peace.

To be exalted, one must love the lord and to believe in him, there is no other requirement to enter the kingdom of God, See Ephesian 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith and not of yourselves., it is a gift from God. God created us on earth not in heaven according to Genesis 1:28.

Today I decided to search for Bruce Hafen talks having had listened to a few talks before but one talked about him and I thought, oh yeah, I like him, I'm gonna go search for him. This talk bore witness to two principles that I had previously heard the day one being the obscure quote on complexity. My mind is in awe at what the Lord is teaching me today and the principle of what level we are on is very important!

S. Michael Wilcox is my favorite speaker. I was fortunate to hear this talk before my mission. Then he came to speak the same on when I was in the MTC. And then the cherry on top was while I was at BYUH he came and I saw this talk in person in 2009. Truly a blessing that has helped me many times.

I attended the church program here at this sacred ground of Sauniatu. I help planted Taro, bananas, pineapples, corns, lemons, and took care of the cattle farm here. Oh how much I love and miss Sauniatu. It’s indeed a sacred ground in my beautiful homeland of Samoa. Thank you Sister Dew for sharing your experience there and for your testimony of the Gospel.

I knew him but not everything about him necessarily made me happy. He probably is a humble person. But he isn't perfect. Not like anyone is, but I had difficulty understanding some of his ideas on religion. I went on a mission and happened to be my mission president. I still have difficulty with confidence in part because of what I experienced as a missionary which he was partly responsible for. He's a good person. Bit he isn't necessarily a perfect man. He's a wonderful orator. I think one of his strengths is his mind but he's certainly very human

A man of great experience and subsequent Wisdom. Worth serious pondering, if one believes in God. Even if a person does not. Elder Brown is a person who developed great spiritual and educational depth in his life. He "put first things first": Love of God as the foundation of a Quest for truths in life (the First Great Commandment).

There's a great book by an LDS author that shows that there's perfect harmony between the prophetic statements concerning the garden of Eden being in Missouri and the Old Testament account concerning the garden of Eden. It's called Canaan, Babylon, and Egypt A Comparative Theological Analysis on Creation sold by Eborn Books.

All really great talks, thank you for posting! I think it is especially poignant when in Elder Oaks' talk where he said: "In our day marriage and family are under attack because Satan knows they are essential to obtaining eternal life. As essential as the creation, the fall, and the atonement of Jesus Christ. After Centuries of attacking and trying to distort those three fundamental truths of the plan, Satan is now seeking to destroy our understanding and practice of marriage and the kind of family life that fulfills the purpose of our Father's plan."

So faith is not blind but it only works if we don’t look for the golf balls in the rough. Faith is not blind because we had to see with faith to know that we needed to close our eyes to help our faith survive. Thank you this helps!

This again is Mormon propaganda , if joseph smith as they really are and was truthful and showed tolerance why did he set up danites army to take his revenge? Why did he did he send Orin Porter Rockwell to assassinate of ex-governor Boggs? Why did he have a gun with him in cartage and kill two people ? Why not take responsibility for Kirtland Safety Society and Zion camp. Why did Brigham young who was responsible for Utah during mountain meadows massacre, ever take 100 percent responsible for the massacre, instead he hid the issue for years and only when there was a federal investigation he assigned blame to his followers. When did the lds church ever SHOW WISDOM AND responsibility AND admit polygamy , racism SOONER ! . Deception they Book of Mormon which has no proof . why did the church NOT take responsibility and admit Joseph smith and Brigham young were a con man , racist and a pedophiles Whom married 14 year told girls and other men’s wives , IF YOU WANT TO LEARN PLEASE LEARN THE TURTH about the church and you will know for a fact its a big deception .
