I met him at ontario speedway and at pomona various times always a class act i couldn't say the same for warren pissy pants johnson although warrens son was very pleasant to speak with. Rip Bob.

To me he will always be the Best of the best. He's a true one of a kind. A great man.

Bob Glidden is a legend, no one had the success that he had, and it was in a Ford, a fact Chevy drivers can't seem to accept to this day, but those days are over with. corporate ass kissing by NHRA and GM had all but eliminated Ford or Chrysler from compatition. they are going to rule change them out of any chance of winning.

I have been following ALMS since 2000. I want to thank the Robertsons for their steadfastness. They started off a small privateer team with an unaccomplished Ford GT. They stayed with it and expanded this year and with Michelin tires I truly feel this team will make waves amongst the Factory backed teams. Good luck!!

@DavidW2340 I've always connected with regular people doing great things. My friends looked up to rappers and rock stars. I would rather be driving a race car like Bob Glidden. Never went on the path, though. Maybe some day.

Its about time he woke back up. And its been so long awaited. He may not know this now. But theres another World Championship for him if he just go's for it. I hope Jim Cunningham and Ford give him the support. Bob if your listening to me. Hear this. Throw those cigarettes in the toilet and move on to what we all know you can achieve once again.
