They delay an arrival from London form a pilot and an LE class 47 ! WTF ! It always seem to be the around this time you were delayed outside Norwich station awaiting a platform !

The 31 hauled train at the beginning was from Birmingham I reckon ! The Pilot came onto it to haul the coaches back so it could run around !

Bathgate wasn't 'wired' in 1995 so probably Mossend for the car train.

How comes you have to test the Westinghouse brake at Kenton. Are there any other stations you have to do it and if so why? (I believe the others are Harlesden, Kilburn Park and Lambeth North) I might be wrong.

Brilliant video as sways, shame you didn’t leave the Red Arrow LSs in, though I know why you concentrated on the RMs, they were never the same for me without that beautiful AEC engine sound! Lovely Ms on the 76 too. Happy times.

I still haven't got round to using that clip because I didn't shoot a video on that area, but I will put it in an upcoming rail related video, which is overdue, haven't done a train video for months!

I know it's quite normal there, but all these people right next to the track make me a bit nervous

My dad spent 38 years working for London Underground first as a cleaner on the buses and then on London Underground and then driving the underground trains and then TFL then as a private contractor health and safety officer and protection master on London Underground through a contractor and he used to have the red London Underground vans to drive in the beginning , I also remember when these buses and the Leyland Titans and Olympians and the Routemasters were in service and riding on them, thank you for the memories.

Class 311 electric units look almost like the Class 303 sets except they were built by Craven's.

Back in the 80’s I did wander into the station as didn’t know much about it. Shame for all those affected, that greenery was a surprise. Now a faceless office block there no doubt.

Great footage! How much were home video cameras back in 1988? I think they may have been around £999. Which is equivalent to £3360 in today's money!

I traveled from Sevenoaks to London Bridge, invariably on night shifts, and remember the comfort of the seats and when lowly stock like 4-EPB’s were refurbished, that welcoming smell.

Good to see and hear the Cl37 in action on ScotRail - but disappointing to see how litter strewn and weed covered Waverley station is. A definite downward spiral in track maintenenace from the BR 70/80s. A poor introduction to visitors first sight of our capital's main station

Another fab video Soi! I think the 15B’s were discontinued shortly afterwards, around this time a short lived Sunday tourist 150 route from Victoria to Aldgate using 4 Upton RML’s. To think within 8 months of this footage being shot only the 15 at Aldgate would remain crewed! Nowadays the 254 has replaced the Holloway-Aldgate section of 253, and the 15 seems so few and far between (just a PVR of 14!)

Excellent, i was there that month for thy open day.

i was around bescot a lot from about 78 to 88 and it was so varied , it looks like a 31 takeover in 92 !!! Always a great place for a little spotter and with saltley a few miles down the road was brilliant to visit these 2 on a saturday
