Awesome video, question for anyone to respond to. What are the negatives to storing batteries indoors? I heard the video say not to store indoors because of gases/fumes. What other dangers exist when storing batteries indoors? Thanks

Great Cabin! Where do you get your shower and toilet water? Do you have a septic system? What was your total cost on this project?

I just stayed again in a 20 by 30 cabin. They're just too small. Two people Max. A couple of guests, not really overnite

Hello! Hope all is well and things are going great. If my ship comes in I'd like to build a cozy little place like yours in an out of the way place. How about a video update? Thank you!

Beautiful home! What state are you in? I would Love to have a place like this. I am a strong, 70 years young lady and am not afraid of hard work, and would be willing to learn as much as possible, to be off grid and sustainable. Thank you for inspiring my dream.

Thank you so much for sharing this this is my dream, and your information has made a huge difference in my way of thinking thank you and keep putting these good videos out I'd be interested in seeing what other changes you have made since you've made this video like have you upgraded your solar and have you ever thought of putting up like a 50 ft tall aerial, and with the aerial you know you can use that for your TV, CB, several different things I grew up in town but my dad had a 50 ft aerial which they won't even allow around where I live now for whatever reason I don't know but maybe you could show what it's like now and if you still approve of living like that

Insulate the battery box to regulate in the cold season.. love watching the progress! Just leave box and build a 2x4 wall and new sheets of texture 111 on the exterior and insulate so you don’t even remove or have to mess w inside the box :-)

So those are your real rafters? Not fake ones? If real, how did you expose them and still keep it insulated?

Garrett... we haven't seen any updates from you in awhile. I wish you'd work on that. Btw that on demand water heater under that wooden cabinet is asking for a fire. You're also asking for issues with it venting inside your living space. You wight just as well mount it on an exterior wall near enough to your shower. Carbon monoxide would be the concern.

I watched your cabin walk-through vid first and realized it was from 4 years ago so searched out other vids. This is a nice update, and you did install a picture window between the 2 lights like you said you were going to do. 👍 I wish I would have known about Stove Polish years ago when I had my woodstoves. Do you live in your cabin full-time or is it a getaway place?
