I have a pair that I think may be from the Edo Period. They have no markings, are ceramic, have fine crazing, and are pale green in colour with a simple floral design. Absolutely beautiful to look at. I just need to get them appraised.

What does it mean when there's gold tracing every image such as dragons on porcelain/enamel?

Modern porcelain piecesaren't fake if they're made by Chinese or EurAsian people who exist as it is part of our consenting fusion not via rape and genocide

Hi, I just found you ! I have been trying to find out any information on a tintype that my husband purchased for me at an antique shop in Florida. I don’t have the photograph I have the metal. Looking at it I see that it has a photo on it but it’s really hard to make out. Can you contact me about this?

3:26!! It looks almost exactly like my Satsuma Vase.... It was appraised for $10k in 1997... Do you have any idea where I can get a current appraisal, and perhaps find a buyer? Thank you for a GREAT video!

BIG QUESTION: Is Rose Medallion REALLY hand painted? I doubt it. The scenes are almost always the same with people placed in the same places. It becomes tiring to see these scenes in thousands of pieces. I think there is a basic decal on pieces and at best touched up here and there with being "hand painted." The Chinese people should have protested many, many years ago with their likenesses looking so ugly. A disgrace to the race.

I'm wondering why you haven't posted any more videos on antiques and identifying antiques. I thought they were so informative and interesting. Hopefully we can see some again soon!

Question: Why Victorian porcelain plate values are so cheap compared to Chinese porcelain in the same period?

Finding any real authentic antique Chinese porcelain is like winning a lottery. I would be happy to find any recent copies. Thrifting in USA for 35+ years, I only have 1 hand painted tall blossom vase to show for. The rest is all recent merchandise. So I will continue in search of my treasures. Keep on thrifting till the end of my life.😂😂😂

may i send you some photos of a cloisonne ginger jar? I can't identify the mark on the bottom: a light-med cerulean blue enamel base with a dark blue diamond shape (wire outlined, looks almost like an inserted tile). Inside the diamond is a white circle - heavier outlined on one side (gives impression of a full moon), filled w/dark blue again (same as diamond tile); inside that appears to be a tree design ... a small reddish brown letter Y character w/a leafy pattern around the Y top portion in the lighter blue (like three 3's) 🌳 Not interested in selling, but if there's any value, should i insure it?

I have a plain white plum style vase. Approximately 14.5 long . Bottom is about 8 in around. Translated by goggle Chinese says inside government. Under base it's clay not painted. Letters look like they might have been dark blue. I got it from some guy when I was looking for the pots to put plants in. He said he got it from an estate and whoever sold it to him said it was worth $80. I just want to know what it is and what they used it for.
