Hey Emil! I have a quick question please take your time to answer it. So if iam doing my yr 12 exam next year, and i want 99+ atar. Should i focus on this Inquiry based strategy or the ali abdal rote learning strat. I understand that this will help me long term, but im scared it might not come in clutch for my yr 12 exam.. please guide me on what "style" is best in this scenario, since i have only dabbled into these 2 styles

Thanks for the video Emil. It helped a lot! Just wondering what the median ATAR of admitted students is for University of Tasmania Undergrduate MBBS? (because ATAR is the only factor for admitting students in UTAS if their UCAT is above the 50th percentile.) Thanks again 🙏

Sorry if the title and thumbnail are misleading! Ali Abdaal is an inspiration to me, but I see a lot of students using the techniques that he recommends in ways that reduce their productivity. I know that Ali has accounted for these issues in his own content, but not all people will watch all of his content carefully enough to pick up on the nuance, which is the point of this video!

I've finished the course! The techniques mentioned in this video are in the course, but are also on many other parts of the internet, I wouldn't necessarily say that they are unique to iCanStudy

I'm surprised that you're this underrated. I love the quality of your content brother 💪. PS: You sound really experienced in this stuff, so do you know of anyone that's interested in a educative/inspiring thumbnail? I am a video designer and planning on perfectly recreating the ideas of content creators... So I'm planning on asking the right questions, matching the brand, studying the viewers, matching the personality... and then using the right techniques (sometimes I'd like to jump out of the comfort-zone and learn new stuff) so that I can keep adjusting till they're satisfied with their ideal thumbnail.

Hello, I read your message and I would like to talk a little about the problem I have with the study methods that I see on the internet. I have been researching (watching many KZbin videos) about study techniques from various sources, whether they are in Spanish or English, I saw channels like: canjun koi academy, justing sung, med shool insiders, etc. The only thing I have learned from they are: -They use and depend on the use of the iPad to take notes and work -They have an easier lifestyle than I have since I live in a third world country (it's not that I work or have premature children but I don't come from a wealthy family either) -They sell me monthly and annual courses -Your information does not apply to me and when I try to apply it I quickly get frustrated and stop applying it. Anyway, recently I deduced that the problem was me by not giving these methods a chance but I am a very perfectionist about it and I can't stop being obsessed with looking for a study technique.

My obsession with researching study techniques has harmed me too much, I recently applied to one of the best universities in my country but I didn't study at all for the exams and ended up failing the 3 exams I had to take, I was about to lose a year for not having done anything at that time but my father forced me to study the study material to enter a private and prestigious university in a single night, fortunately I managed to enter but the cost of tuition was high and they could not pay it so they enrolled me to another cheaper private one with a 50% discount on the entire degree because my school visited the university; Now I am currently studying there and I have had a good time but I have fallen behind with the preparation for my first exams and I have a week and 3 days left before they start and the material I have to cover is quite extensive.
