How heartbreaking is it that Kelly being a superstar on the world stage of speedway wasn’t allowed in at the end to watch the speedway at his local track…truly shocking.
@BryanBeeКүн бұрын
Yup! I totally agree mate, he said they had some problems but I was racing and never asked what the problems were. But I was shocking to me also, it was super sad to see Kelly locked out of the races because he had no money. Totally true story, I witnessed it first hand. But it was truly shocking to see my friend 😔😔😔
@nervo6321Күн бұрын
I think that is great that you actually raced the Morans, I saw both Kelly and Shawn start their careers at Hull in the UK in over 50 years of watching speedway I never ever saw a more talented rider than Kelly despite some horrendous injuries but in saying that Shawn was probably more successful and likewise a truly talented rider.
@BryanBeeКүн бұрын
I totally agree! I saw their talent when we raced at 12 years old racing minis, they were both talented and amazing riders destined for greatness indeed! I beat them both at Ventura one Tuesday night before they went to UK ( and Penhall too ) in a handicap main, but my people discouraged me from going to UK racing & I got my college degree instead & retired young with good health!

First oil change at 1000 miles!!! WOW! I just hit 370 miles today and it is black as the ace of spades. No, I didn't abuse it. I don't do that to any of my vehicles, no it hasn't been ridden, hard off-road, been taking care of my ailing parents, honestly haven't had time to go to the trails or off-road. Rode it to a friends house twice he's about 15 miles away on an old smooth blacktop in the country. Rode to work a few times. I've never had a motorcycle, especially brand new need an oil change at 370 miles. So I get out the manual, I wish I could put the picture on here, anyway got to the scheduled maintenance page, and it was extremely poorly written, minimal explanation Let me type in EXACTLY what it says for oil change: "Engine Oil: R (for replace) at x1000 0.6 ?? Then it has a header and underneath says "Regular Replace" and the timeline is "1 Year" Some people might put on 1000 miles in a year. Somebody else might put on 10,000 miles. I've always bought Honda because they were reliable with minimal maintenance and have had extremely good luck until I got the 300CRF, if you get on it even half throttle, let off the gas, pull in the clutch and coast to the stop sign, it dies. Remember, this is a brand new bike off the showroom kept in garage, never abused even slightly. I guess my only other complaint is the generic square knobby tires that look like 1970's era and a 18 inch long, ugly license plate holder that looks like it belongs on a Kenworth. Come on Honda you can do better than this, seriously thinking about selling if I get a decent offer it's gone. Which is a shame because I really thought I would like this bike. Just a sidenote, I don't write bad reviews or negative things unless they really deserve it, even then half the time I just let it slide because it's not worth the time 🤷🏻♂️ before this I had a 250 and at 2000 miles it still had some light gold honey color to the oil.
@BryanBee13 күн бұрын
Well you did right changing the oil at 370 miles, Honda has 8,000 miles for regular change but I'd never do that!!! Clean oil = longer engine life so great job!
