Thinking about climbing this how was it what all did you carry or didn’t need , what side of the face is this. How long does it take
@huntervoris77798 күн бұрын
A standard rack up to a 3 is all you should need. Most of the route is bolted as well. Be sure to bring at least a 60M rope. This is the Nw face, route took us 6 hours to complete with a few breaks in there.

Here in the uk i would mainly use this for hiking up mountains and in the winter they will be coved in snow. would you advise getting a more hiking specific backpack?
@huntervoris777916 күн бұрын
This backpack will hold up well in any conditions, it’s not completely water proof but it’s darn close. It’s not necessarily intended for hiking due to there being no suspension system, ventilation or water bottle pockets. It’s a great bag for any alpine adventure but not great for hiking specifically. I hope that this helps.

Hi, i wanted to buy older version of this pack but the oloss ski carry accessory is designed only for the new version. I can see that you havr managed to put it on an older version aswell. When you have the skis on do you feel like that the skis are wobbling around? Cause on the newer model, it has new loops.
@huntervoris7779Ай бұрын
No, it’s not easy to attach in cold/blizzard conditions but it holds the skis/splitboard well.

How did those mountaineering boots work with your snowboard bindings? I’m planning my first summit of Hood and want to board down. I was thinking I’d just add crampons to my snowboard boots since I’ll likely go up Old Chute or PG’s. Curious what you recommend.
@huntervoris77793 ай бұрын
They definitely don’t work as well with a snowboard as they do with a pair of crampons but they work. I think snowboard boots will work fine.

It’s much more secure than it may seem in the video, the major concern is more ice fall/rime than anything. The snow was pretty icy but once I hit the groomed sections it was really nice! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it!

And when I saw your another video, you were wearing a 'atom lt' L size, and I'm curious about the size and fit of this product(venta ar jacket).
