I'm a volunteer with PATH but this comment reflects my own personal opinion and not that of PATH. Maybe I'm biased, but I love what they're doing in Peterborough. However, I wish City Council was more supportive of PATH. After a great deal of effort and time working with City staff to apply for the rezoning, the City denied the request. They suggested that PATH look for another location after Habitit For Humanity and PATH spend time, hard work and money on the bid. They're essentially expecting them to start over. And they did so despite PATH not asking for anything from the City other than the rezoning - it has not and would not cost the City (or any level of government) a dime. They're fighting the City's decision through the Province but I know it isn't what they wanted. After having appeared before Council previously, City staff helped PATH on their rezoning application and recommended Council approve it. NIMBY plays into this but Council should be taking leadership and showing fearlessness against it.

The box lacrosse game has about 20% good lax skills and the rest is 80% goon...lazy ...arena culture junk people. Serious...there are guys on the chiefs..that are shy of a 20 year carrer. No athlete pulls that off in a real league unless your michael jordan. The box game....has 20percent good people, good skills good ideas for the game and 80 percent trash

Larms reciting our shinny lives growing up. The porch light or the hollar, but you wouldn’t leave till you scored the game 7 GWG. Hawks fan and Steve brought back the Mad in the Madhouse on Madison. He, Savvy and Big Al made the trip to that edifice an experience I’d hadn’t enjoyed since Stosh and Bobby were lifting the foundation of that place in the 60’s.

Went out for birthday supper last night and got into a fight with a homeless scum. Came out of restaurant to defend my son who was assaulted by the homeless addict, dog owner scum. Funny how fences go up and right off the bat they put up homemade drapes to cover up what's going on "in there". Oh cops came and were great, cop knew who the guy was. Guess what 2 hours later as we leave restaurant, there's the scum walking by right in front of us screaming again lol. Ya wanna give them a safe injection site??? Then they have to ENROL AND ATTEND REHAB!! Absolutely disgusting what the officials of our city have let happen.
