my schools marching percussion equipment is all over 20 years old luckily we were able to get new marching snares, quads and bass drums

That is a pretty decent middle school line, I’m a freshman in high school, and just started drum-line. But I do have to say if we had a middle school line are high school would sound so much better very good job to that line.

I'm in Middle School. I'm doing traditional AND High School music. Some of the music they actually play in the high school is quite easy cause of all the music I have learned.

TRADITIONAL ON A SNARE!!! I DONT CARE YOU MIDDLE SCHOOL! Nobody marches snare match grip
@RADZADproductions7 жыл бұрын
Abby literally every middle school and even some high schools in my area all use match on snares, I honestly don’t see the big point about traditional.

Also marching snares ALWAYS play traditional unless you do that thing where yo play on you neighbors drums with BOTH hands. It doesn't matter if 5 years old or in dci. If you're not allowed to be playing traditional on snare then you shouldn't be playing snare at all. Do it right or don't do it at all.
@auslander27 жыл бұрын
They need to ditch bass 5 and put him on snare instead, or get another snare player and get tenors that have a spok. They proper thing is to have twice as many snares as you do tenors and as many bass drums as there are toms on the tenors. So if there is 3 tenors with only 4 drums then there should be 4 basses and 6 snares. If there are 5 basses then the tenors should be quads with 1 spok.

Jank Foots symbal arnt all that important. why do you think you can just judge. are you in a drumline? if your are hopefully its a good one.
@jankfoots8 жыл бұрын
Applecidercrew Cymbals are important. They're the life of the drumline. They add that extra flavor you can't play without. And yes I am on a drumline. We're good but most of them quit so now there's 2 of us
@Drummerboy008 жыл бұрын
I second that! I'm the cymbal leader in my school's drumline and a lot, if not all of our cadences sound pretty dead with out the beautiful crashes. Especially when we play "D&K" aka "Funky Drummer" =) Cymbals don't get enough credit man

Bass line is lit🔥🔥 besides them not playing in the center of the drum. Why is the Asian dude on the right smiling he has 3 girls better than him in the snareline(not trying to offend anyone) And it looks like they are mostly all new Yamaha drums so why the covers? And Traditional grip would look so sick and would add more professionalism. But before that make the snareline cleaner. Sorry for the rant...
