He's such a liar. Hotel staff wouldn't have to break the door down when they have a master Fob or key to access the room. I don't believe a single thing that comes out his mouth. He believes his own lies. Just a conman with the gift of the Gab.💯%

Great interview. Interesting comments about the steroids, especially the Eagles. Around 2005/2006 for sure.

My beloved late father was a happy fun loving bloke who got on well with everyone he met. But holy shit, did he have a despise for journalists. As a young man in the 1960's and a member of a Hot Rod club dedicated to safety and organizing official drag meetings with the assistance of the Victoria police in Melbourne, he was interviewed by a major news team regarding a fatal accident that involved a hot rod. The issue was that the car was carrying way too many people, and speeding, and they were drunk. This could have happened in any vehicle, and the poor young men had bought the car because it was cool. Most Rodders take extreme care of their prized possessions and my dad explained the whole sad situation to the blood sucking journalist. The team then took the tapes back to the studio and edited it using key words and dramatized it to a story of their liking, almost setting the sport back into the outlaw image they'd spent a decade getting away from. He dwelled on that for the rest of his life, and I've noticed it still happens today, albeit as Ricky said with KZbin and social media networks.

I'm 6'4 100kg. I played footy with a guy around this time who was 6'5 105kg and he said Rhett Biglands was the biggest unit he'd ever seen in the flesh. Pickett folded him like he was nothing.

My favorite Open Mike of all. Just such a humble, self deprecating bloke who doesn't push his own agenda at all in this. Seems very happy with what he achieved, where he is at, and takes responsibility for some things that went wrong. A fantastic insight into a player that didn't really speak a lot publicly when playing.

He didn’t see the real Carey in 2003. He definitely isn’t shy. This was after the incident at north and he went to a new club and was reserved. Was also shot as a player at that time. But at North he was the leader of the whole team off the field and the most extroverted.

Those shorts were horribly uncomfortable. Made of nasty cheap nylon they were constantly giving you a wedge, and they were so tight, apparently to ease movement, they were embarrassing to wear.

Modra generated a lot of income for the Adelaide football club and in return Modra was treated like garbage. If Adelaide treats its players like this they deserve to be at the bottom of the ladder.
