Fuel/air ratio will kick in, that old girl will use quadruple the fuel with that little mod, I almost certain that that Marvel carb doesn’t have the porting to accommodate….interesting to see how this goes…and those are low compression engines to start…
@TooManyProjectsTooLittleTime12 сағат бұрын
@Lakeman3211 them being low compression is what makes this so much easier. I have already built a modified blow through Marvel Schebler for it. Not worried about fuel consumption, this tractor is too small to do much on my farm anyway. It's pretty much just for fun.

I always thought sherps were too tall+short+narrow. The maker should have made the toof a foot lower, and the length and width increased by 9 inches all directions from center. It doesn't seem like much, but would make a world of difference

That's the one I used^ the 3rd wire is the signal from the laser to turn on and off. Make sure you run the laser setting at 100% constant power.

Great set up for having a PTO hook up for your everyday drive
@TooManyProjectsTooLittleTime3 күн бұрын
@Db25865 only if you intended to run a ground speed PTO but yes you could certainly do that. Keep in mind the shaft is welded to the pinion so it's meshed with the ring gear. I did play with the idea of doing the rear-most axle as a pass through with a splined PTO shaft coming out the back so I can make a trailer also powered behind it with a quick connect pto shaft like a Gamma Goat.
@TooManyProjectsTooLittleTime3 күн бұрын
@Db25865 o yes, there a plenty of ground drive implements out there too! Would definitely be useful. Infact several of my tractors have a ground drive position for the PTO.
