New Year's Eve 1996 I was working alone as Security in that mall. Worked for about a year of security there. Also spent many hours in the 80s there as a kid on dates, Arcade playing, school clothes shopping, and just hanging out. Better off getting an Ortomi, they’re way cheaper, react to touch, don’t need wifi, small so you can carry them anywhere and they have animations which show up randomly.

Hey man! I'm really wanting to get a nice little companion robot. I had an Interactive R2-D2 as a kid, and to this day, nothing I've seen online even compares to how alive that thing felt in my mind. I've been debating on getting an Emo. But I'm afraid it won't do enough for me to keep me entertained. I like the idea of having conversations with a robot but am afraid Emo's ChatGBT won't function as well as something like Loona's. I guess my question is, how well do you recommend Emo today for the price? Or do you suggest just spending a little more and getting Loona? I really wanted something I can just slip in my bag and take to a buddies house or bring downstairs in the living room. Thanks!

Just got mine and it wont interact at all. yes it has all the permissions activated. I can use 2 finger touch to activate the mic but it doent do anything. very ticked off. hopefully they update the software soon.

Loona is forsure much better than her predecessor, i.e. Sony Aibo. Precisely, last Aibo. Earlier Aibos had verbal chat function, they could be cute assistants or secretaries. Last Aibo instead, is simply an SI robo puppy, and that's all. Closely before closing production, Sony lowered price much, in order to fight Elephant Robotics MarsCat - worse servos and slightly worse software, but low in price and aiming for cat lovers, about whom Sony has forgotten. Loona has newest software tech and due to wheels on movable arms resembles slightly older Aibos, which were more functional. In addition, it is cheaper than Aibo AFTER price lowering... Sony is 🔩

I can only pair Looi with my smartphone when the charging cable is connected. Is that correct? If no charging cable is connected, the robot does not react to the touch of the sensor to connect.
