Ten millimeter is huuuuuge. I bet most women would prefer something below five millimeter, but you probably won't hear that from a goldsmith. In my experience, women also prefer silver over gold on men.

I never knew they would dip a 14 Kt chain to make it look like a higher purity . So you order a expensive 14kt chain and it turns out to be gold plated with a higher purity . I'd be so disappointed you should get what you order

@@blairmarriott3737 The majority of jewelry in the United States that you purchase in retail stores is electroplated even if it’s solid 10k, 14k etc . They’re “dipped” to give that top layer shine .

@JonesGoldLuxury I'd personally prefer a 14k chain to be it's real colour . Once a plated chain begins to wear out you would notice . Well that's good to know

Ive had high karat, 22k and 24k big cubans. Ive noticed yours and mine are different in color vs some of your asian 24k and asian 22k. The cubans never look as bright. Why pleaae? Thanks!

@@andremora2965 I can’t say. I know the anchor chain had a high polish when I got it and now has a duller 24k look. My 24k Cuban had same color my 24k anchor chain does now . Same with my 24k rings

I bought an 18K 4.2mm plain franco, aka Dragonscale link from Kelsey. Disappointing to hear she'll be slowing the business down for a bit, but I'll be back in line to support her again. Superb transparency about her stock, friendly, frequent communication. She even hand delivered my chain (okay, she had other business in my area but went out of the way to meet up). Look at her silver and especially her remaining figaros for a good deal on authentic 18K Italian pieces.

Hi Kelsey! Great vid. From what I've read on the 24K gold hook and loop clasp, you are supposed to gently TWIST the male end from left to right, rather than open up the bend. I don't know how this extends the longevity of the clasp, but maybe.

You can wear 24k daily wear . It depends on the jeweler and style of the jewelry (if it’s thick etc ) It will get scratched . Lower purities will be more durable and get scratched less . You can also wear thinner chains without worry

I prefer my chain to not be flash plated. It definitely wears off. Crazy for 14k to be cheesy yellow. I have Marv make my chain and he doesn't plate. I like being able to polish with a cloth every couple weeks or so and keep that fresh mirror finish.

7mm in 18k at 22 or 24 inches is the ideal chain. Neither too ostentatious nor gaudy. It has a solid presence. Perfect complement to a successful guy’s neck.
