Great idea. A male version may also build more traction and help improve the female version. There are many 2nd tier clubs that would benefit from this.

Like they say there is a method to the madness you just have to make sense out of what is being said and if you can't just do it and the sense will come as you go through the motions.

This is really interesting. It's from a time before Lindsay Peat and Claire Molloy retired from international rugby. I'd replace Claire with Maeve Og O'Leary. I would have Natasha Hunt in as a 9.

Well done, interesting video. Thank you all your work during 2021. My choice for moment of the year would be watching international women's rugby on BBC 2 TV a massive step forward. Whilst one cannot take away the terrific season (in fact several seasons) Zoe Aldcroft has had, Zoe Harrison has, at long last, reproduced her Sarries' form with the Red Roses and has been outstanding. She would be my player of the season.
@TheWomensRugbyShow3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment Steve! Massively agreed on Zoe Harrison, she’s been brilliant for both this year - great timing to heading in to a World Cup year.

Nope, doesn’t work for me. Watching other sporting podcasts might help but this one just seems so “ Amateur “ . I feel women’s rugby deserves better
@TheWomensRugbyShow3 жыл бұрын
Is there any reason why Jon? This is me doing this off my own back producing almost three videos a week, sourcing interviews and content myself. Hope you follow us on social media to support the women’s game 👍🏻
@jonchess88443 жыл бұрын
@@TheWomensRugbyShow Maybe that’s the problem, you should be getting more support to do this podcast? The game is growing fast and it’s great that you do your best but you need more help maybe? The Try Hards podcast is good so why not ask for their involvement?
@Iamthemadmidget3 жыл бұрын
“Women’s rugby deserves better” what a ridiculous statement. This channels work on KZbin and other socials is at the forefront of the women’s game in this country. The women themselves really appreciate Sam’s work, and it’s exactly what the game needs.
@jonchess88443 жыл бұрын
@@Iamthemadmidget All I know is that when I go to watch the matches nobody has either heard or watches this podcast. 6 hours in and 32 views. I’m sure Sam is doing all he can so please don’t make it personal, I love Women’s Rugby just as much as you do mate but I have the right to my opinion. Maybe linking this podcast to others? I love The Try Hards Podcast, it’s really funny and also sometimes critical to aspects of the women’s game and rugby in general which I really like .

When you're at the game you should take a tripod for the camera. It'll stop the picture rocking, and help people focus even more on your punditry.
