Thanks for posting this and well done for losing so much weight. I have to say though, meat is fine if you buy organic. Yes, it's more pricey but I just eat less of it.

Thank you so much for this video :) I do also have SMA, and about the same strength as you :) I am planning to change my diet and exercise (which the last one hasn't been important to me at all, "cause I can't gain muscles anyway"..)

Hello, I really appreciate this video! I am in a wheelchair myself, and I am looking to lose some weight. I have to be on a medication because of my mental health that has caused me to gain some weight and about 6-12 months ago I was able to lose 15 pounds through diet alone. Like you, I am unable to exercise. However, I never really thought of the possibility of going vegan or vegetarian so you gave me some good ideas. I would absolutely love to hear more about your weight loss journey and any diet tips you have to share.

Hi glad I found your video. I have question do you count calories? Can you make a video with a full daily diet plan. I’m having trouble losing weight and I’m in a lot pain especially if I exercise. And yes I am a T-5 Paraplegic. Thank you for your videos hope you continue to make more in the future.

Seems like you don't even know what ableism really is. Ableism has nothing to do with speciesism. Ableism is discrimination in favor of non-disables people and prejudice (positive or negative) against disabled people. You're talking about speciesism which is a completely different thing. It also should be mentioned that the vegan community is incredible ableist, for example when they say "everyone can be vegan, if you're not vegan it's because you don't want to" or sometimes even people telling me I'm chronically ill and disabled because I'm not vegan. That's fucked up. That's ableist.
@pixieduskvs
@pixieduskvs Жыл бұрын
You don't realize how all discrimination and injustice is connected. That's what I'm talking about here.
@serasvega8448
@serasvega8448 Жыл бұрын
@@pixieduskvs then you should just say "discrimination" or when you refer to something specific like in this video you should check what kind of discrimination it is exactly, which is speciesism in this case. But saying it's all the same just isn't true and also not helpful. If we talk about veganism and disability it's also crucial to talk about ableism from the vegan community against disabled people like "everyone can be vegan, if you're not vegan it's because you don't want to" because that is very common and needs to be addressed

@pixieduskvs

@@serasvega8448 Also if you watch my other videos, you'll see I do address that obviously doing the best you can to live a cruelty free life as a disabled person is a great thing. I'm well aware that some individuals need to take medicines tested on animals, etc. If you're trying your hardest to live a cruelty free life, then you're doing a great thing for yourself, for the animals, and for the world at large.

I tried dollar stores. I found that a lot of items are from China. I won’t eat anything from China. Just too many funky growing practices and basically no food standards . A lot of chemicals in their food products. Stay well.

Thanks,good vid. I am a para, T12/L1. I was fine till I hit 50 yrs. Old. Then I slowed down and gained weight. Now I have to loose 40+ lbs. Yes, it’s good to hear your story. Maybe I’ll try strict veggie diet. I cook from scratch anyway so I think I’ll continue to cook or prep all veggie diet. Thanks again. ✌️

Hello, Vanessa, I am following you from the Middle East. I wanted to say that your information is correct and beautiful, but do you not see that deprivation of walking and living an abnormal life is so painful that if I deprive myself of the food I love, it is as if I put myself in a cage smaller than the cage I was in

hello! I am recently in the process of getting to drive. When you say that your father does the car payments, did they modified the van while you guys were making payments on it, or did you guys have to pay it off (own it) entirely before they could modify it? Thank you!

It actually is not false about carbs. If you don't burn the carbs it will turn into sugar. If you don't burn it off it will turn into fat it is not a fallacy

Guys. lost a lot of fat doesn't need to be hard (I used to think it did). I'm going to give you some advice right now. Get a popular lose weight method called Okibetonic Secrets (just google it). Thanks to it I have lost a lot of weight. I shouldn't even be talking about it cause I do not really want a lot of other guys out there running the same game but whatever. I'm just simply in a excellent mood today so I'll share the wealth lol.
