When he pulls his arm back he needs to rest the ball on his palm and to get under it. If he gets under the ball instead of just letting it rest on his fingers he will have more rev. Rev gives you more hook and more power
@lesliellh83 ай бұрын
Ok! I am learning something too and this is the second comment relating to this so definitely something he needs to work on. Thank you for explaining! I do give this to him. 🙌
@noluvanklez65983 ай бұрын
To be honest I would say have him watch Darren Tang tip videos and he should adjust fine. Darren tang is a pro bowler. Or have him also have him look up house bowling. They have great videos on how to practice the proper techniques. Everybody has their own style. Shoot I have my own style. I play in the PBA handicap league and I average 225. By I will say there is always something to improve on.

What you said is so true. I am not a bowler but never ever realized how much (there is a lot) goes into it and the skill involved till my son. Have a whole appreciation for it and he absolutely loves it. Thank you for sharing and that’s really awesome what you do!

Tell him to try and keep his hand more under the ball so his revs are higher allowing him to be able to have a better time on long patterns and have ease playing inside lines

lil bro needs to fix a few things, he should "push" the ball away from his body with the first step, then when his arm is straight (slightly angled down but arm extended) he should start his backswing, and then time it so that he releases a bit after his last step. he also needs to bend his knees instead of releasing with his legs almost standing up. this would make the release smoother. his left foot shouldn't be facing to the right like that on the last step, his foot should be facing towards the pins. another tip is to relax muscles. more muscles makes more problems and also causes inconsistency
@lesliellh85 ай бұрын
Thank you! He is learning so much and from videos even before he was very straight so I know what you are referring to as well as the foot which is being worked on now and the swing just today. He has been bowling a year now and absolutely loves it. Nah, not just loves it he is very proud to be part of it. I personally am extremely impressed with the bowling family in general that supports the bowler and helps in technique to improve. About every comment that has ever come from a bowler has been positive with advice to improve and it is very appreciated. He has a lot of growing to do with the sport and the journey is the best part. 👍🎳

Thank you Liz! I have missed singing…I am honestly having a lot of asthma issues and last year around this time managed to end up in the hospital for pneumonia so I am drinking lots of honey and warm lemon juice and trying my best to take care of the cough that comes with it. I look forward to singing again. Heard a little of my voice feel better and I smiled cause I do love to sing. I hope you are having an amazing day! ❤️
@lizmallard7158 Жыл бұрын
@@lesliellh8 I can sincerely empathize with you. I have had 2 visits to hospital with pneumonia in two years. I haveCOPD plus my lungs have “ground glass syndrome” from infection damage. I have had to be very careful since COVID because of this. I am stuck wearing a mask indoors at shops etc. I hope that you can overcome your asthma cause it is a nuisance. I got mine from a heavy smoking ex husband mainly. Now that’s enough of the negative talk. I noticed the photos at the end of your vlog and I must say they were beautiful. You have a very tall son I see. Lovely family photos. Even the dog is great. Labradors are the best dogs. I’ve ranted enough but bet reassured I know how you feel with your asthma. It’s a nuisance to say the least. Have a great Easter with the kids and eat much chocolate. God bless.

Oh Liz I am sad you too have asthma and you are right! It is a nuisance especially that stupid asthma cough. This time of year is the hard one for me. I had the childhood asthma and it went away and now came back. My boys are definitely tall and getting taller! Taking in every moment I can! Our yellow lab is 11 years old now and he is so wonderful. I keep asking him if he can just stick around with us a little longer. He is such a good dog. All of our pets have personality for sure. I hope you feel better and you take care of yourself out there too! Have a Happy Easter! I have to say this is one of my favorite holidays :)

Oh Liz big hugs from the United Stated and thank you so much. No, their dad unfortunately left all of us about 5 years ago now for another woman. We were married 13 years and it was a blindside but he left so picked up the pieces and we are our own family. He is not there nor tried but is what it is. I want to show people can do anything and don’t let anyone say it can’t be done. I do all this Liz. It’s very hard and I am often so tired but I love my kids so much and family is what you make. Thank you for caring it wasn’t rude at all. ❤️ And thank you for being a cheerleader. Believe me, it means a lot.

That’s actually great to hear because this is what Christian says. He feels more comfortable bowling this way. He only started bowling this past September, loves it and is going to keep going further with it. He does have a journey and is working and being instructed on his body positions and his hand. Bowling is pretty awesome! I don’t bowl but for fun but never did I ever realize how much truly goes into it and the community in bowling has been really great.

He has been told this a lot. When he bowls there have been bowlers stop and watch. He is new though to bowling. He started this past September into a league and is practicing a lot. The knees, hands, etc. So I do know he is more comfortable bowling this way but as he progresses this may either be made better or change. Thank you for your comment! I have been very impressed with the bowling community. Christian absolutely wants to continue and go further so his journey is only beginning!
