I am always amazed at the grace and strength of ballet. In another Life I would have loved to study this art. I pray that dance enters a renaissance and will flourish across my nation. May it be respected and cherished for its power and emotion.

this came up as a random feed. Never been in to ballet even though I know the husband of the principal of the Oz ballet. Weird that. Astounding

ballet dancers are remarkable physical specimens. it is so very athletic, it appears the men have body fat of 5% and the women perhaps 10%. and to see athletes move so gracefully is quite impressive.
Musique et perfection de la danse, bravo, un enchantement ❤

Such glorious dancers --- all three of them are moving, floating with such grace as if Earth's gravity has been nullified by the stage. Yet they never lose their masculinity. Bravo!

Absolutely spectacular! I used to be a dancer myself, however arthritis and two strokes put a stop to that. I do still deeply love it though. It seems as if my daughter inherited my love for dancing which makes me immensely proud.

I would like to share with you some fun facts about the video. Vitruvian Man. The Vitruvian Man is da Vinci's study of the human form, which is meant to be perfectly proportionate through the application of geometry and mathematics. Its only meaning is to demonstrate the perfect ratios and proportions found in human anatomy. The Choreography David Fernandez created the choreography for three dancers representing the three orders of architecture in ancient Greece. These architectural rules were standardized and have influenced modern architecture. The Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian orders were developed during the Classical period and were characterized by distinct features in their columns. These orders were commonly seen in formal, public buildings like libraries, gymnasiums, stadiums, theaters, and civic buildings. That is why Chase Finley, Ask La Cour and Amar Ramassar represents each of the orders with different movements and styles. The Music Palladio is a composition for string orchestra by Karl Jenkins, completed in 1995, with the title referring to the Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The work in three movements is in the form of a concerto grosso. I love architecture, too! So yes, the choreography is a mix of many arts. Thank you for your time. David

I loved that opening sequence...and after doing individual dances, the way they synched up again was quite beautiful imho. But what is the music! I dare to say it sounds like an excerpt from Vivaldi and the 4 seasons. But I am not entirely sure!
