For an example, We can't use reasoning models if you attach files or give custom instructions. This means that these projects only works as a custom gpt if we need to use custom instructions or attach files. And also you can't change the model in the middle of the chat.

Can we just appreciate what the Chinese companies are offering us for a fraction of what it'd cost to make, as well as utilize a GPT model based in the US? This will force all tech companies to start thinking out of the box like these guys did, innovate more, and lower their subscription prices. Much like Tesla was forced to do due to high quality Chinese products at more competitive prices. Wonder how Trump administration will react to this. Tariffs on using a Chinese AI perhaps ?!

DeepSeek is STUNNING. Even for trivialities, like a “good morning”. I tested the DeepReasoning with an EXTREMELY complex research in progress, with graphs, deep taboos, bold hypotheses, etc- it analysed it in what…. 1-2 min? Besides providing the over complexities I added in the upload, which it sweetly recommended me to remove as a source, with the precision of a genius, it provided me not one, not two: but various scenarios depending on how I wanted to prove my hypothesis. I was gobsmacked. my prompt was super simple, like “could you please analyse these documents and the research file and give me a feedback?”. In the meantime, ChatGPT took 6 hours to translate 40 pages of a simple document. To the point I forgot about it. Kudos to the whale 🐋

Still doesnt follow specific instructions and still doesnt remember important points. Projects only gave a way to store chats but it has no effect other than that.
