Your control is lost because your speedlimiter is on Max. Next time just keep the ramp open while flying.

It's not ideal, but if you leave the door open it rides stable enough as long as you don't QT. That lets you mine withing a couple hundred km of anywhere you can spawn the ROC for only the cost of a ROC rental. After one session, you can afford to rent a cutlass if you want to QT somewhere with the ROC. (or a Nomad. Do they even rent those?)

I agree. All the "just barelys" for "balance" when every manufacturer knows exactly what it takes and what we want, right? So many more ships should be competing for the customer.
