His theme kinda reminds me of something from Command Mission. And the fight is pretty dope too.

0:57 I don't understand how Dr. Light could even get kidnapped. The guy creates robots for a living. It strains credulity to believe he didn't build a robot that would provide security. Also, why wasn't Mega Man around to prevent this? It's not like he has other things to do. All Mega Man does -- when he's not running through Wily's mazes and fighting his robots -- is stand on top of a building and stare blankly into the horizon. Maybe Dr. Light wouldn't get kidnapped if Mega Man wasn't spending all his time literally just staring off into space...

I like how Time Stopper doubles as a buster this time; that is how it should have been in MM2.

Does this stage really fit Fire Man? It never struck me as particularly fiery in any way. I feel like Fire Man would have worked better on Shadow Man's stage.

*This version of Rainbow Man's theme is much better than the current version.* The one everybody hates. I must be the only person that enjoys it, but yeah, that's masochism for you. *That's because you enjoy Mega Man X6 and X7.*

In all honesty, even tho this game’s visuals are very amateurish and very mixed in quality i find the level design honestly pretty solid and honestly well made for how old this fangame is It just feels like a nice palette cleanser from all the polished fangames (not to say theyre bad or anything)

The one positive I'll say about Pyre Man's theme. At least it's better than anything Victoria Jackson puts out! 0:43 - Kudos to them for using the Mega Man 3 Rush Jet instead of the shitty Mega Man 4 one that almost everyone else does. Mega Man 6 has the best Rush Jet though. 3:53 - Note to Sega, THIS is how you do a countdown to a loss life sound effect (or music in Sonic the Hedgehog's case).

"Most roboticists have the foresight to program a sense of fulfillment into their robots so that robots with the most mundane tasks can enjoy their life. There are many instances of sloppy programming leading to eventual discontent, but none worse than Polar Man. Day in, day out -- the daily grind of removing snow began to wear him down mentally, especially when he knew there were other ice themed robots out there exploring the world and achieving great things. He grew cold towards people and other robots with more satisfying careers. So, when approached by Justice Man and offered a chance to be “something great”, Polar Man jumped at the proposition. As one of Justice Man’s Robot Generals, he guards the fortress’ cooling system with utmost ferocity, now using his Polar Plows attack to remove intruders rather than snow."

Even the fortress bosses apparently have bios. "At first glance, Fish Man appears to be an organic lifeform, but this is not the case. To carry out his mission of deep sea exploration, his creators felt that a more organic appearance would allow him to observe lifeforms without frightening them. Scientists acquired a skin-like polymer, used primarily for robot faces, and applied it to his entire body to make him more maneuverable in water and adaptable to pressure changes. Though he is still durable, his porous skin is susceptible to contaminants and microbiological lifeforms; after extensive underwater missions, he’s been known to build up quite the stink. His Fish Finders were once used to explore areas that even he couldn’t access, but after joining Justice Man’s ranks, they were fitted with explosives to become incredibly deadly tracking torpedoes."

"A Government Issue robot, Death Man is one of the most powerful robots of the current generation. After the incident at the Monsteroplis Hydroelectric Facility, the Government, in a bid for public approval, felt it necessary to create a robot explicitly for hunting down and destroying dangerous robots. His energy matrix is one of the most complex ever created, requiring no less than eight times the energy of a typical Robot Master to function properly. However, once he was presented to the public, many felt his appearance and purpose were much too grisly to be considered the new face for security and peace. Not only that, taxpayers cited his extremely costly upkeep as excessive and unneeded, given the formation of Mega Man’s new Rock Force team. Having fulfilled his true goal of political posturing, Death Man was allowed to function as a crop farmer until his energy source depleted within a few months. When it came time to collect him, his body was never found."

"Terror Man was essentially a junkyard dog. Though designed to be intimidating, he was actually quite the gentleman early in his career. Unfortunately, his appearance proved to be a bit too effective, as any intruder, both robotic and human, immediately fled from his presence, screaming. After years of this same scenario, he started to see himself as a monster and thus began playing the part. Robots and humans who entered his vicinity were subjected to cruel mind games and near fatal encounters before being violently ejected from the junkyard. Terror Man eventually became too violent for his own good and, after carelessly mistaking a human for a robot, ended up critically wounding said human. Public outcry led to him eventually being put down." big oof, poor spid needs a hug

"Also known as the flaming rikishi, Flare Man was a top contender in the First Annual Robot Tournament due to his ferocity and size, but poor maintenance eventually cost him a chance at the finals. Though the tournament turned out to be a ploy for world domination, Flare Man did not consider himself fortunate, feeling robbed of a potentially glorious battle with the famous Mega Man. Since his creators couldn't afford to restore him to his full capacity, he was forced to take up work guarding an oil refinery deep in a remote desert. So ashamed of his loss, it is often rumored that he somehow managed to crush his own IC chip before going offline."

"A cocky new robot, Power Man was akin to Photon Man in that he was designed to provide power to other machines. However, Power Man had a very unique delivery system, being able to wrap large quantities of energy in a spherical electromagnetic field. These energy spheres could then be inserted into compatible machines to serve as an energy source for several months. These fragile electromagnetic fields could easily be knocked out of phase by additional electromagnetic energy, so Power Man lived a delicate existence. Though he always did precisely what he was asked, compliance was often preceded by a quip or snarky remark toward his superior. His fellow workers appreciated his personality, but his boss wasn't nearly as smitten by him. Just a few weeks into Power Man’s career, his boss contacted the manufacturers and ordered a new IC chip, demanding that they cut the personality component this time. His first chip was destroyed, but his body was stolen before the new chip could be installed."

So in the spirit of that one guy in the second set of Fusion Masters providing official(?) bios for them, here's the official(?) bios for the older Fusion Masters. "Official(?)" because since the site itself is down now I don't know if these really are official. I've seen multiple sources use them, sooo... "Plague Man led a miserable existence before his eventual demise. Designed to travel the world and filter waste water with his mouth, he at least took solace in knowing that he provided an essential service for humanity. However, once clean water became more of an accessible resource, Plague Man was transferred to a waste treatment facility where his contributions were largely made redundant by bigger, less intelligent machines. Forgotten about and mostly useless, Plague Man pressed forward with his duties, even when the severely toxic waste began corroding his joints. As time went on, he began to resent his creators and the humans responsible for the constant influx of waste. Workers often swore they heard him muttering "disgusting creatures" when they walked nearby him. Eventually, he begged to be scrapped."

Uh, the one guy didn't post the backstory for Thermo Man, sooo... "Thermo Man was a walking thermos tasked with gathering volcanic material for volcanologists. Unfortunately, his creators didn't provide him a sufficient cooling mechanic for the vital systems located in his head, which resulted in him feeling perpetually feverish. One day, after collecting a fresh lava sample, he was overwhelmed by the heat and, not thinking clearly, decided to remove his head to cool down. He was in the lab when he did this, consequently setting the research station ablaze and destroying much of the new research. He was scrapped only few days after this incident."
