2 years ago I had the TeraFlex Falcon Tow Haul Lift System (08-03-21-110-002) installed on my 3rd gen Tacoma. The shop set the front shocks to the middle "Level" setting and I only got approximately 1.5" of lift. I asked them why it wasn't set higher and they said that because I don't have extra weight on my front, setting the shocks higher would result in a rough ride. I've lived w/ it for the last 2 years but have always felt disappointed. Just today I decided to reach out to TeraFlex customer service, and to my surprise Andria said she disagreed with the shop installers, and that if I wanted closer to 2" of lift that the shocks should be set to the "Heavy Acc." setting, and most importantly she said that it "would NOT" result in a noticeably rougher ride. So I'm wondering if anyone else at TeraFlex could chime in here on their thoughts on the matter. I'm going to going back to that same shop soon for a brake upgrade, and would like to have them also put the shocks on the "Heavy Acc." setting if that would get me a higher lift and not cause a noticeable rougher ride. Thanks for any thoughts on this matter.

is the an end stop for either setting? How do you know you are in either of the settings once they have been turned to corispond with the setting?

Warning! During the removal of the OEM stabilizer on the '22 Wrangler, if you are using an impact tool on the DRIVER SIDE of the stabilizer, do not put your fingers blindly behind the bracket to hold the nut. That nut has a wing on it and if it starts spinning, could take off a finger. I have two severely injured fingers as a result. The same thing happened to my son on his install. I wish he had warned me!

So far I've seen 0 influencers running these shocks. I can only find Terraflex/Falcon sponsored videos that don't have any real world data, only manufacture opinions. I feel these would be the best fit for me for need and price so please send these to off-road influencers for the 6G Bronco so I can make a decision weather to buy or not. If there is a source on KZbin running these please point it out because I can find nothing sadly.

@@FalconPerformanceShocks Thank you, I found this shortly after I commented here. While this is the most information I've seen so far, it seems in the test drive at the end of the video he went over some potholes and the ride appeared to be very rough even the installer said he wasn't expecting that. I later found out from the KZbin channel that it was set on the softest setting during that run. Is this to be expected on the softest setting? I'm looking for a comfy soft plush ride as I'm very disappointed with the yellow bilsteins. I need suspension that is going to be very soft over rough roads.

I replaced the stock Mojave shocks after adding a 3.5” Teraflex lift with the 2.1’s. Unfortunately the stock Fox units dont have enough travel but the Falcon 2.1’s extended were at 3-4” longer. Made a huge difference! Run them on soft, great feel in between controlled and comfort.

BUY THE FALCON 3.3 SP2, especially if you run the BFG KO2 tires. Those tires have hard sidewalks and the 3.3 helps soften the ride…… Thank you Dennis for making shocks, I now love my Jeep again and I now have the option to adjust the ride.

I've beat my Falcon 3.3s HARD, and they definitely can take it. I've jumped my JL more than I'd like to admit, whether that is intentional or not. Countless times I have gotten out to check under the Jeep to make sure they are still intact. They are truly remarkable.

2013 Rubicon came with 33” BFG KO2’s. The ride was so hard so I installed a long arm kit, changed the shocks and changed to BFG KO2 35” and the ride was still rough. I changed the after market shocks to the 3.3 SP2 shocks….. After 4 years the mystery is over and I now have that soft ride. Thank you Dennis, I’m finally loving my Jeep.

I've seen comments that these aren't compatible with JKs that have a snorkel. Is there any way to make it work?
@FalconPerformanceShocks2 жыл бұрын
It would depend on the style of snorkel. AEV and other external mounted snorkels are not affected in anyway. If it is a style of snorkel where it is routed from the inside, there could be possibly interference. We do not test with parts like that so it's hard to say for sure.

Is the difference in parts due to the weight and lift of the 392 VS standard rubicon jlu?

Good question; the fitment change was actually due to different fitment and clearances needed, along with some weight differences.

Hello guys. I have a Currentlync steering, is possible to mount this stabilizer on it? Thanks
@FalconPerformanceShocks2 жыл бұрын
The Nexus stabilizers for the TJ are designed to work with factory "stud" mounting, so if that steering setup retains that mounting style it should work just fine.
