Geoff stirling is a guy who deserves to be discovered by the wider world. Imagine if Ted Turner did a shit ton of acid, that's Geoff Stirling.

Coffee Break and Dialogue. Two blast from CBC Newfoundland's past. I met both Shirley Newhook and Richard Beaton at CBC St. John's tv studio back in the 1980's during an open house and still have autographed photos of both.

cool video. However, 40 years later, I'm still scratching my head in disbelief over the Cabbage Patch craze... What were people thinking? I still don't get why adults made complete asses of themselves trying to get a hold of these things... but there they are, on vintage video

Great nostalgia video! I was 9 that year. I've lived in Florida almost my whole life, and it's amazing to see that, humans can adapt to living in any environment.

I’ve listened to this song since I was a baby my mother is Newfoundlander I’m half Newfie half PEI and Nova Scotia because my uncles are from there and my dad was in between those two places as a kid. But my mother played this song every year when we were decorating the tree since I was a couple months old! Mom would pick me up and dance around with me. I love this song
