In a further comment, the poignancy of this song becomes more powerful when you view pictures of Josh with his fans. Josh Groban is like an "Empath." You can see he is so deeply connected to others that he feels things more deeply. This transmits like the warm rays of the sun to everything he touches. Never more than in this almost unparalleled song. If ever a performer was born to sing a song it is Josh Groban and "You're Still You." The comments relating this song to Alzheimers are so appropriate as well. No matter what indignities nature perpetrates on a loved one, at their core they are still themselves. Nothing can alter that basic truth. That is why this song transcends anything yet rendered. At least that I've heard. If he's not already, Josh Groban may well be recognized as the greatest entertainer that ever lived. And certainly the most unique human being.

The most magnificent Mid to High Baritone voice God ever endowed a human being with. I heard this gorgeous song on a You Tube video when Josh Groban made a cameo on the Ally McBeal show. This is my favorite song I've ever heard him render. That is akin to selecting your favorite painting from. The Louvre!! The fabulous Ennio Morricone wrote this incredible song. With lyrics by Linda Thompson. Morricone in my opinion had no peer as a film Composer. His compositions ranged from the totally unique "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly," to the Theme Music to "The Untouchables." THEN THIS IMPOSSIBLE TUNE! His compositional gifts knew no limit. Just like Josh Groban himself. Groban was the only musical vessel that could do justice to this timeless tune. Bravo Josh. Your talent is exceeded only by the beauty of your spirit.

My crush on him started when I saw him on Ally McBeal when I was about 16, it's been nearly 20 years, I still can't quite sing like him but I'm getting closer. You ever hear someone sing and be like "That's it, I wanna do that!" Dude was a huge influence. And now he's fantastic in The Good Cop. Big fan :)
