Went to the same high school...use to be in jrotc with David. I was always astonished at the fact he was making computers from scratch at a young age..nice to see he made something of himself.

1 December 2017 // The loss of this listing (Siemens-Healthineers) to the NYSE is certainly a watershed event, justified on the part of Siemens - yet it should be a wake-up call for the "clubby" and woefully inefficient management of the NYSE - which should be swept out. The recent "incident" in which the NYSE "looked the other way" as Delta Air Lines refused to furnish access to information regarding how to present a shareholder proposal - reflected extremely poorly on the NYSE as they were informed of Delta's highly improper refusal, and NYSE management looked the other way and did nothing. It is companies like Delta Air Lines that, doing things like this, i.e. confounding market access to normal corporate governance procedures - it is companies like Delta doing improper things like this - that casts the worst kind of shadow on the New York Stock Exchange. The refusal of Delta Air Lines to disclose basic procedures regarding how to get a shareholder proposal on the agenda of the annual meeting represented a true perversion of the market mechanism, and it was likewise highly improper for the NYSE to "look the other way" on this matter. Corporations such as Delta Air Lines who flout and confound the basic functions of corporate governance, must be impressed that their actions in fact represent a type of theft of voting rights, highly reprehensible, and reprehensible that the NYSE let it slide. In light of this, sadly, it comes as no surprise that exchanges other than the NYSE are gaining in global competitiveness and the NYSE is losing. We wish Siemens and Healthineers all the best with their listing in Germany, and also best wishes for the holiday season.
