This movie is more of a disaster than my upload schedule ong. Love the video cant wait for the next one. I can see the major improvment in editing Nice job! (your older videos are still good and hilarious just good improvement)

13:20 Salt dough! This recipe isn't original to this show haha, it's a fairly decent fireable craft 'clay' for kids as it's pretty tough when baked. The only downside is that you can't really do fine details with it as it's not the most malleable but again, pretty good for kids just learning to sculpt and wanting something more 'permanent' than playdough.

30:43 And this is edible playdough! The two recipes are right next to eachother in my Mum's mid-90s 'parenting' cookbook lol

That’s actually really funny lol. Doesn’t surprise me the show stole the recipes (presumably from that book). Can't believe the show left out the fact you had to bake the first recipe though

@@Muted7017 I wouldn't be surprised! The book was from some sort of 'parenting'-type organization/movement that existed at the time - although I do live in Australia and I'm not sure if it was international (?). I didn't even realise they show didn't state that it needed to be baked though!

As I’ve mentioned before, my uploads are going to be a little more sparse in the coming months since college just started for me. I’ll try and go for 1 video a month, but we’ll see how that goes! Hope you all enjoy the video!

There is no progression in the game. No practice modes. No record setting. No ranks (unless you go online, which still pathetically slowly progresses). Feels so anticlimatic even if you win. Wii sports was amazing because of all the extra content. They couldve just remastered wii sports or wii sports resort with better controls and it wouldve been amazing
@Muted7017

@itskelvinn All very good points that I wish I would've noted in the video. The game in a lot of ways feels more like an advanced tech demo than a fully-fledged game unless you’re playing online. Hopefully they’ll improve upon that if they continue with the franchise

2:32 probably seeing how people abuse the mii customization so much their lawyers must have gotten involved in producing Switch sports. (seeing mii just relegated to just for avartar unlike the 3DS and wii/wiiu having a community of their own.)

I kinda doubt it since you can still use Miis in the game. Nintendo probably just want to push the game as a franchise and made the new avatars to make it stand out more. I definitely see where you’re coming from though, it wouldn’t surprise me if it were true

I'd like to share My personal top 5 showa G-films that i enjoy rewatching the most, just my own personal opinion here. 1. Vs. Mechagodzilla 2. terror of Mechagodzilla 3. Godzilla Raids again 4. Destroy All Monsters 5. Son of Godzilla Also I am pretty confident that the dolls in Vs. Gigan are actually supposed to be Mannequins and not humans

Gozilla vs. Ebira was supposed to be a Toho King Kong film, but they couldn't get Universal's permission. Godzilla vs Megalon was to be a new franchise featuring Jet Jaguar, but Toho forced Godziĺla in to shore up attendance. Space Apes were because the original Planet of the Apes movies were huge at the time; there is even a Japanese take on them called Time of the Apes (which received the MST3K treatment).

If you get the DVDs/ Blu-Rays, the commentaries sometimes have fascinating information, of which here are two examples: 1) to drive home his point to his domestic audience in Gojira, the fishing vessel (Lucky Dragon #7) Godzilla destroys was an actual vessel that got caught in the fringe of the Bikini Atoll H-bomb test (3x more powerful than scientists expected), and 2) Japan's version of Mann's Chinese Theatre, in which their big premieres (including Gojira) are held, was one of the buildings he destroyed up-close during his Tokyo rampage (kind of like being in the White House watching the iconic ID4 scene when the aliens blow up the White House).

The reason the fights were so fast in raids again is bc they rushed the movie and messed up having the footage sped up instead of slowed down, then they decided instead of reshooting to have the fights fast

I like the Heisei films more than Showa cause the plot is consistent, but here’s my rankings: 1. Godzilla Vs. Hedorah 2. Godzilla 1954 3. Destroy all Monsters 4. Godzilla Vs. Gigan 5. Ghidorah the three-headed monster 6. Godzilla Vs. MechaGodzilla 7. Godzilla Vs. Megalon 8. King Kong Vs. Godzilla 9. Invasion of Astro Monster 10. Mothra Vs. Godzilla 11. Terror of MechaGodzilla 12. Eribah horror of the deep 13. Godzilla Raids Again 14. Son of Godzilla 15. Godzilla’s Revenge Hedorah was my first Japanese Godzilla film, and my parents made the mistake of letting me watch it while I was in 1st grade. But hey, now it’s my favorite, despite the trauma.

I notice if you grew up watching Godzilla, Showa is the best era, but if you watch them for the first time as an adult, Showa is the worst. Explanation? Perhaps because Showa has the most imagination, so as a child your brain fills in the gaps to make it the best. I grew up with Godzilla movies and Showa was best, Millennium was worst, and watching them as an adult I still feel that way

Don’t blame you for placing Mothra vs. Godzilla at the top, pretty much my introduction to the franchise after the Tristar one. You can pretty much watch Heisei in a week a day at a time and I hope you take it slowly. Myself and a good portion of the fandom consider it to be amongst the best in the series. Granted it seems th 90’s were some of the best years for Kaiju movies.

By coincidence I recently started watching the Showa era films as well. I am a lifelong Godzilla fan but I hadnt seen most of these since I was a little kid and so Im watching them with fresh adult eyes. It is kinda funny how these movies can range from being pretty good to pretty bad. Last night I saw Hedorah and I seemed to remember being creeped out by the death scenes but forgot everything else. I was surprised at how good the film was and I like the groovy hippie environmentalist stuff. Also the quote made by the kid saying Godzilla would be mad if he saw all the pollution in the sea was pretty funny
@Muted7017
@Muted7017 2 ай бұрын
The death scenes were definitely the most striking, so I definitely see why they stuck in your mind. And you’re right about how much these movies range in quality. Watching Destroy All Monsters, All Monsters Attack, and Hedorah all back to back felt like total whiplash lol

The fight scenes in Godzilla Raids Again were shot at the wrong filming speed so it looks sped up. They didn't have either time or budget or both to go back and refilm at the correct speed.
