Hi Jake, I've been using hair system for about 8 years. However I decided to quit, last 1 year I used minoxidil(yes I applied over lace system and when I took off for maintenance)and fin in order to improve natural hair also donor area quality . Results are great doctor said now you are ready for hair transplant. My 8 year experience advice . Keep long your side hairs . Don’t use thick hair . Design the temple areas little bit open . Dye your lace from the bottom every single month in a color that matches your skin color. The main reason why I quit I am 35 now I don't a need a perfect hair, I am getting bored of maintenance procedures. Yes I know it will never be like hair system but it will be my own hair. Have a nice year ✋✋

Yes, life is fleeting quickly...."time flies" I've been poking around in these hair replacement videos for 2-3 years now and am about to 'pull the trigger' on this next week. Happy New Year Jake and all the others out there. Thanks for the inspiration.

Try getting stuck in to do as much as you can yourself. Not only is it cheaper it just makes the whole thing more managable as you can handle everything yourself.

Happy new year, Jake! Do you have any info about hair systems and/or SMP for people, like myself, who suffer from scarring alopecia?

Looks much better, in fact, I'm a thin, thin, thin guy. I would have it at least down to 80% for me. It looks so much more natural with thin thin thin.

Sorry our friend Adam from LH does not advise to cut but the edges of the hairs and he doesnt make locks twisting the hair, just recover a line with his fingers as barbers do.

I'm curious - I've been considering living the digital nomad lifestyle for a bit and was wondering about the cost. What is the cost like? Can you make it cost less than or equal to the cost of living in one place?
@JakeKentКүн бұрын
i think it depends on how you travel man - obviously more flights / travel means more expenses. but theres ways to mitigate that. its better to approach it from "what is my budget and what does that allow for lifestyle"

I have never liked the description of a hair piece called a hair system. For me I could not wear one because I like permanency. I have had 2 hair transplants. My hair is a lot thicker than this guys and the coverage after 8 months is about 92%. This guy is a good looking guy and I get why he wears the piece. All of us who have lost hair and subsequently lost confidence have gone down different paths be it a transplant, medication , hair weave , system hair tattoo and if it has helped our esteem and confidence it’s worth it

In my case what puts me off is to wash twice: my bald skin plus hs, also many days with sticker mixed with glue i think is not the most healthy and higienic thing of the world. Singer Enrique Iglesias is doomed to wear cap his whole life

I'm sitting in my doctor's office, waiting for my TMS treatment for the day to begin, and I appreciate your candor about men's mental health, men's issue, and the stigma around men wanting to look good! I'm also a psychotherapist in private practice, i recently started wearing a hair system, and I'm looking forward to watching your videos and seeing your journey! [Written on 12/27/24 :)]

Thank you for sharing your story. I feel your sincerity and heart in your voice as you opened up about your experience. I sat with Ayahuasca in 2018 and it opened up a powerful journey that I am still moving through. Huachuma has been coming to me and Grandfather is inviting me in. I feel humbled and grateful. I should be having my ceremony in April in Mexico this year. On my path of deep surrender, too.

When blending the edge of hair system into your bio hair, that transition area can sometimes be helped by applying got2b gel to damp hair in those areas around the perimeter of system, THEN, apply a doorag and tie it down, let it dry for 30 min to an hour. Experiment w that until you figure out whay works best for you.

I’ve kind of decided I’m doing this someday… I’m out of country now and kinda budgeting but I’m gonna pull the trigger sometime. I’m just not happy buzzed, shaved, or grown out. I’ve tried really hard to find a way to style my hair that I dont hate… im gonna just tell everyone the truth when i do it. I kind of had my moment when a guy told me not to do it, while simultaneously hiding his scalp under a permanent baseball cap… to me that didn’t really make sense to me

So glad I don’t care if others guess I’m wearing a hair system. When I tell people I’m wearing a hair system they are shocked, and then amazed, and then full of questions. Wear your system for yourself not for others

This is a choice. I respect that. For me, I went the hair system route at age 24. I realized that hair just masks the real problem. The problem is self-acceptance. This is something that I have always struggled with. Of course I was going to go this route. It made me dig deep. In the end, I realized that I choose to accept myself over masking the problem. This acceptance gave 10x more confidence than fake hair could. Later, I met the girl of my dreams. The one thing that attracted her was this cool confidence. I dont think that would have been achieved not being my genuine self. Something to think about.
