wow very nice recipe, I am maharashtrian , I ate gur sandesh at frnds house And I loved it ,can u tell me bit about which jaggery u used and how to make exactly liquid jaggery

We used Nolen gur or liquid date palm jaggery. This jaggery made from the sap of the date palm tree. If you don't get this type jaggery you can use any jaggery, for liquid you just add some water and cook in low flame For 3-4 minutes. You get liquid jaggery.

Channa, has totally burnt. You be very careful while showing your recipe. Not only that you are showing Kaju paste adding to your cooking but in your written ingredients it has not mentioned about to use Kaju paste, is it purposely not to disclosed one ingredient at all?

This is not the original Thakurbari recipe! Not the one mentioned in Pragyasundari Debi’s Aamish o Niramish Ahaar… the authentic recipe calls for the use of Saffron and not turmeric and uses 3 apples not 1 for around the same quantity of uncooked rice.
