At least the road is paved. I took a bus from Kathmandu to Pharping. There's NO WAY a person could stay on top of the bus! I didn't see roads that nice the entire time I was in Nepal! LOL!

We don't know. The powder, was put on the murthi(stone) and energised by prayer. Now its been distributed. Generally, to enter a temple, veg is eaten....Though sometimes, not all off us eat veg. Therefore this lady, can be a good interface to prevent aggression to be Passed onto the priest. ( because the whole process is about trading our bad energies for good vibes)

hi, just wondering where on the summit did you sleep. have you guys booked any kind of lodge? thanks !

Hi Erica! There was one lodge on the summit. There was no way that we know of to book this lodge and no one told us about this lodge either, only that we saw it when we arrived at the top! We had planned to hike back down to the last lodge to sleep and back up to the summit again for sunrise but when we saw there was a lodge on top we just asked if they had space and luyckily they did. Hope this helps!
