@daysaved I'd love to see where this house was located. Can you give me longitude and Latitude so I can see where it is on Google Street view? Thanks Amazing footage.

These two guys seem awfully naive. Not the best to offer in a crisis. I cannot believe they were not already wearing their toughest shoes, preferably work or hiking boots as a prep for potential severe storm damage. Glass is a given but Lots of building debris can puncture your shoes. Females do not always own tough work or hiking boots, but most sensible men do own a pair. Women often own strong sensible athletic shoes which would be the next best choice, if that is all you own. I do not know what to make of these two guys???

I'm hoping someone will see this, what is the street address of this video. I'm assuming it is in Tuscaloosa, but wondered where in Tuscaloosa.

First it's eerily calm. Then it starts getting dark and then very dark. Then you hear thunder. Then the power goes out. Then you hear the roar of a freight train in the distance getting louder and louder. And then you see debris and the wind begins to get violent. And then all hell breaks loose and you are in the grinder. Thank you for posting - very educational for folks to see the transition from a simple rain shower to the most violent of storms.

I can't re-locate it on KZbin (searching under the heading "tornado out of nowhere")but there was a video that started exactly like this one - eerie stillness outside, gray/green overcast with sirens in the distance - it went from nothing to their being inside an F1 or 2 funnel in three minutes, destroyed the neighborhood breaking 24 inch diameter pines in their yard and was gone- as if it was never there. You could sense it coming the whole time.....

It’s very important for everyone to have a Weather Radio. Our lifelines for information about when and where are going to disappear when a storm comes leaving us only to guess. God bless everyone who experienced this tornado.❤

Bloody hell fire, what an absolute …. He was laughing at the weather guys telling them to Go to safety. No shoes on?!!!! What the hell?! For crying out loud u cld hear that thing coming for them and he was still outside the house. He’s lucky to be alive. If that had gone right over them there’d be nothing left. Terrifying. Hope the dog is safe (can’t believe they didn’t make sure the dog was in the basement 🤦🏻♀️ Wow

I wished they would have prepared more as they saw the weather channel on tv covering this wedge Tornado and if that would have been a direct hit (which wasn't as the house and the doggy would have been another story). Though roof damange done and glad Max was okay and you guys, I dont wanna sound rude dont get me wrong. Next time (hope this will never been the case again for you guys). Take your dog with you and been more prepared next time. You guys had good time than others had to get everything ready also to call the dog even it's hiding. Important ppls to take with you your pets and been prepared when knowing about tornado watch and one on ground and you guys still have some time left to do so. Glad once again, you all were fine. Wasn't the neighbor girl who fell down the stairs and died a few days later? 😮😢 So sad. Did this family not know too a tornado was on ground and through Tuscaloosa?.

The most unnerving thing about tornadoes, is how calm it can be up until it gets close, imagine living in a time before weather radar. You're just some midwest settler sitting on the porch chewing tobacco watching the lightning one moment then the next you hear that menacing roar getting louder and closer. Then a flash shows you the monster heading right for you.

I think having shoes on as well as having wallet, car keys, insurance info, passports, etc. handy is good during a tornado. Keep all important critical info in one locked box, and take that box into the shelter with you. I'd take a gun too just in case. All the videos we all watched as kids say shit like "forget all else, just get to the shelter immediately!" And i think that's stupid if there is time to put shoes on and grab important information needed for starting over after the twister
@ey3z4ya9 ай бұрын
But often there isn't enough time, in which case the only thing you should be concerned with is your life. There's a good reason we tell kids that
@UseADamnCoaster9 ай бұрын
@@ey3z4ya yeah I can see that, and it makes sense. But I'm a single guy with no kids who is indifferent to his own mortality, so I guess I'm just considering things from that perspective lol

if you can only hear, but not see a tornado, you need to find shelter. absolute shame as that porch / view was really cool. hope the insurance co. didn't do you dirty like mine have.

Being in a tornado warning is both exciting and scarey to me. When I'm in a tornado.....or even severe thunderstorm warning....you'll find me going from window to window, looking out to see different angles outside. Lol. As soon as that wind picks up, my adrenaline pumps like mad. First it's excitement. Then when the place starts shaking and/or making noises, then the fear kicks in. I'd probly be better off taking shelter in the small shed in my backyard than staying in this mobile home. At least the shed has been concreted to the ground. It's solid for sure.
