Three years late but, my thoughts. There's a strange empty to this somehow. It brings to mind sitting at the table and your parents are silently mad at you for something. As soon as the chase bit started, first phrase to come to mind was "I didn't do it mommy, I swear" Just the weird stuff that comes to my mind

The fact that this song came from such a solemn and sad part of ddlc is crazy. This song is so upbeat it almost makes you forget what Sayori was going through. The glitching in the middle and end part of the song help hint towards it but it's still just so easy to forget how sad and depressed Sayori really was.

hir a Idea for a Backstory: Surv Story: Date - 11/7/2029 Location - Brantenc Psychiatry Henry Wilson has been a psychiatrist at Brantenc Psychiatry for 7 years. In so many years, it's clear that he's seen many crazies. From cannibals who believe that by eating people they continue to live within them, to people who have gouged out their eyes and talk about a dark world with monsters and an evil god. But the case he was assigned today is... something special. James Clarke, or as he's also known by the press, "The Jester," is a murderer with a perception disorder. Even though it may not sound like anything special at first glance for Henry, it gets weirder the more he delves into his past. Each of his psychiatrists has committed suicide about 48 hours after meeting James. Also, how he kills is disgusting. Before killing his victims, he ties them up and presents them with a "show" that no one has survived so far. He performs tricks with severed parts of the victim that he took from them during the tying up. Then he cuts their backs open while conscious and puts the severed parts inside... cruel. He was transferred here after there were some incidents at the previous psychiatric hospital, Lérys Memorial Institute. Henry initially didn't want to take on the case, but then he decided to. Henry was on his way to the room where James was already waiting for him. When he arrived, he saw him, a man with pale skin, scars on his eyes, 4 fingers on each hand, and a hole in his shoulder. Doctors couldn't determine why he has the hole or why he's not suffering any consequences from it. It's only known that he wasn't born with it. James greeted the psychiatrist with a hearty smile, but Henry had read his file; he's very manipulative and not dumb. "Hello, 17," said James with a voice where the desire to kill was unmistakable. Henry felt how his voice instilled a calm feeling in him and made his heart beat faster, but Henry knew he must not be influenced. Henry and James talked for a while, but Henry couldn't learn much new about James. However, throughout the conversation, Henry increasingly realized that James was mentally disturbed. He talked about voices in his head and how he had to give them a show to be rewarded. But then an alarm went off... a disturbed murderer had escaped, and everyone had to seek safety. Guards entered the room and took them both away. Brantenc had special safe rooms for such cases. They were taken to different safe rooms to ensure Henry's safety. Four hours later, Henry wasn't worried while waiting. "There are guards everywhere outside, and it's just a madman, he won't get far," he thought. But then he started to wonder why it was taking so long to capture him... had they forgotten about him? No, the cameras would have seen him. Wasn't he the only one who escaped? Or are other factors playing a problem after all... When the door opened again, he went out... but no guards. Probably, they had let him out through the terminal. He walked down the hallway, and what he saw made him freeze in shock. An escaped patient sat in a puddle of blood, and next to him were the bodies of staff members. When the patient noticed him, he started smiling and ran towards him but slipped on the blood and passed out. "What happened?! Where are all the guards?" Henry thought as he began to run down the hallway toward the exit. But he saw more prisoners who joined together and blocked the way. "Shit!" Henry thought and hid in an open room. He locked the doors and saw that there was a video on one of the open laptops. "It was recorded 2 hours ago." Henry played the video, hoping to find out what was happening. "My name is Edward Nalson, and this will probably be my last recording," said a doctor with severe mutilations all over his body. "Today on 11/7/2029 at Brantenc Psychiatry, there was a mass breakout. All patients escaped and are killing everyone in their path. The doors were opened through the terminal by someone... I don't know why. The automatic security system has locked everyone inside the building, and due to a hacker attack, it can't be deactivated anymore... it was well planned... we can't get out anymore." In the background, you can see the door slowly opening, and a madman in a bloody Jester costume is standing there... it's James. "Most of my colleagues are dead, and I'm probably next... This was Edward Nalson... may God help us." The video ends, and Henry is shocked, wondering... where is he now? As he heard a chuckle from the corner of a room... James, who had been stapling Edward's body and had been watching him in the dark the whole time, is now standing in front of him. "Fuck!" Henry shouts and runs out as James just watches him. Henry has created enough distance and hides... he starts to figure out a way to survive the security system, when he hears footsteps... James is there and slowly walking toward Henry. The adrenaline-filled Henry sprints away in fear and doesn't even notice a dark mist forming around him. He hears a voice in his head that drives him mad. It speaks in an unknown language, but he understands every word. As he is engulfed by the dark mist... he falls to the ground crying in fear and has a nervous breakdown. James is gone... the psychiatric hospital is gone... everything is shrouded in mist... Henry panics and can't think clearly anymore as he finds himself in front of a strange campfire... and that's how Henry Wilson entered the realm of the entity. Killer Story in the Komment!
