Dang I don't even know how you break 15 lb mono. That's pretty strong line, knots? Upgrade to 30 or 50 lb braid, fish won't care what your bait is tied to.

I always run at least 30lb braid now in that river or any spot with potentially big cats!

@TOutdoors Oh nice, that's exactly what was needed. Have you tried fishing right next to the pumps for catfish at the Jordan River? It requires a canoe or kayak, but you paddle right up next to where the pumps leave Utah Lake and there are massive Channel cats.

I would start looking in any place with a stream and granite rock nearby. Eventually, you will catch on to something

I almost have the same setup on my 1994 Ranger 4.0. I used the shorter Cherry Bomb (12 in), which made it possible to angle the pipe instead of the 90-degree bend that you have. I also turned the exhaust tip 90 degrees to the left of yours to achieve that aero dynamic look. My friends say that it sounds like a V8, but I don't think so. I'm thinking of taking off the three cats that it has to maybe improve the sound.

If I were you, I would take 2 of the cats off so that there is still back pressure on your engine. But yes, it will make it a lot louder. The only problem with removing all of your cats is that it can be harmful to your engine. Thanks for the view!
