Viva nice Brocante Girl! I went Pl. du Jeu de Balle in Brussel this year. And next year, I'll go to Paris. Do you know somewhere brocante, it usually has vintage pocket or wrist watches?

They do seem to have watches at almost any larger brocante, in Paris, I would give "les puces de Vanves" a try - I didn't managed to go there yet but from what I see on KZbin, it seems pretty massive and diverse!

Thank you! Since I'm not one of those KZbinrs who are also professional resellers, I'm becoming pretty picky with what I get. As I'm also very limited by the space, I think reeaaally well before buying (although I still make impulsive and totally unnecessary purchases from time to time ☺️🙀).

You should have bought that goat!!! So unusual. If you want to buy something- you should and not have a husband tell you otherwise. You are a grown woman and not a child where a man might say no to. I never let a man tell me what to do and not to buy things. Just me though.

That is the thing: I didn't really need it! I have so many bits and bobs that soon there will be no space to move around the house 😄 I always get what I really want but I do appreciate my husband being the voice of reason which I need sometimes when thrifting, too 😉

Tomorrow I see there is a big flea market in Evere ("Evere en fete - grande brocante annuelle") that could be worth visiting. I've never been to this one so can only recommend based on information available online 😉

I was more in Belgium than in the Netherlands 😄 I miss Belgium and their wonderful flea markets so much. 🎉 Now I live in Kortenhoef. That’s a 5 minute car drive from Hilversum. In Hilversum there is the television broadcasting. This is more the centre of the Netherlands. My sister still lives in beautiful Belgium. Très sympa cette brocante ! pour les sulfures (ou presse papier) on reconnait les anciennes au dos car il y a la marque de la coupe du verre après avoir été chauffé et effilé. Les modernes ont le dessous tout plat et lisse. Merci pour la promenade, à bientôt

I was very pleased with all my finds, especially because how different they all were compared to what I usually find in Brussels. ahh i also want to go here, i've only been to tour & taxis flea market. but this has more clothing & furniture i feel + prices are high. this seems to have more diversity & not as expensive

I've never been to (nor heard about) the one of tour & taxi, will need to check that one out. The flea market at the Place du Jeu de Balle is my favourite in Brussels, the prices can be on a higher side too but usually vendors are open to (reasonable) negotiation.
