I went to a high school with Bob Jonas curriculum. These people are insane. Crazy zealots.

They may have apologized but it wasn’t genuine. Go to any IFB church and you’ll see a white washing that would make a member of the Aryan Brotherhood happy. Let’s not go into their Luther and Calvin-like theology that can be easily debunked and refitted. I’m so glad that my siblings aren’t a part of this cult and that I converted to Catholicism.

I remember the Rice sisters so well and had the privilege of getting to sit under their singing as a young girl. My mother used to go to the Joyful Woman Retreats every year. Joy was always the main speaker along with her sisters and other women of God. Her son married my pastors daughter whose name was also Joy. I had always wanted to meet them but Joy especially. She was a spiritual example to young girls and lady's of all ages but she really made an impression on my life. I can remember mama taking me with her one year and I got to meet Joy and she was my friend the moment we met. I remember corresponding with her through letters and she ALWAYS answered me and we'd send one another pictures and words of encouragement. As busy as she was she would still take the time to mail me a letter (handwritten NOT typed) and after all of these years I haven't forgotten how genuine she was...and still is.

Just because bad things were done to baptists in the past does not mean they are right in some of their theology if you go there then we can say the same of Mormons, they were run out of Missouri, the 1838 Mormon war, Mormons were tarred and feathered, and their founder joseph smith was unfortunately killed which made him a martyr and that helped the Mormons to grow, as we all should know persecution only makes a religion grow because they assume they must be right or they would not be being persecuted for their faith. the devil is not dumb and even he can learn from his mistakes, by persecuting the early church it only fanned the flames and caused the early church to grow, do ya think satan might use that little tactic to cause the cults to grow? why wouldn't he? if something is proven to work then why wouldn't he use it to his benefit?

Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Llama are pure joy and sunshine, they like to tease each other and laugh together and not afraid to show affection to each other. More people should be that pleasant and happy.

How fortunate are those of us who have lived in the same time frame of these two compassionate men? Of course, Mother Teresa was a part of the compassion movement, too.
