I love BATTLELORE and have been following them for 20 years or so. I have everything except the first 2 albums and want to get Sword's Song. I agree with you some albums are better than others. Third Age of the Sun was my first one I bought and loved it and yes I was really into the LOTR movie trilogy and they fit perfectly. Sons of Riddermark is one of my fav's. Are any of them available on vinyl? Thanks for your review!

I was introduced to Witchfinder General when I was 15. I'm 58 now,I've loved them from day 1. Unfortunately they're flame burned out way too fast.

Nice Ranking, but a bit confusing that the Compilations were included. To me, Melissa remains my favorite Album, followed by The Oath (sometimes, it is interchangeable). Although I like Time a lot, the first two Albums remain the peak of Mercyful Fate.

Actually some hardliners among the fans put IGR or HTE on number one, considering KoM a trifle more "commercial".

An amazing and underrated band, and it's impossible to listen to early Bolt thrower, especially "in battle", without realizing what a huge inspiration Sacrilege were on the next wave of bands.

@medd1990 Great video. I agree that a year entertainer's private life should remain private. But when you bring your private life onto a widely distributed commercially marketed product in a provocative and controversial manner it's hard to maintain privacy. But it really doesn't relate to the actual music. I wasn't trying to suggest that you should have included it, I was justifying why I brought it up. If Zeeb were my buddy ,and had a secret girlfriend I certainly wouldn't have revealed anything of that nature.

Awesome! I just have 1 suggestion. In future videos, put the lyrics up, prior to the singer singing and ghat verse starting. When i practice my singing and add a new song it really helps to see the words prior to the verse starting. Then after i get them memorized i then work on delivery!
