@@SHappel10 Good game, but they made a lot of mistakes and the coaches put them in a lot of bad situation. Man to man up 4 with 3 minutes on the clock, why would you put your Cb’s on a island when the pressure is on K-State QB to drive the ball to score. The offense abandoned the run again, and Shedeur took some very bad sack not taking the easy reads

@@joe3rd403 agreed. CU made the comeback but then almost shift their style that was being successful. Good win by K-state. CU is a solid team. Has come a long way in two years.

Kstate lost to a pass heavy BYU and almost lost (did lose in my opinion) to a lower level pass heavy team in Tulane. Neither of those teams has the pass weapons that CU has. CU beat two teams that ran similar run first offenses to Kstate. So how can you not see trend? Oh, i know how... your bias. Oh and i forgot to mention that both of Kstate losses were on the ROAD to those offenses that are inferior to CUs. But i digress

Fair points! I would also point out that BYU had a strong disciplined defense. I think that might be where I see things different. Not bias towards CU. I enjoy the engagement!

I’ve been impressed so far. The front line talent is on par. I would just wonder if the depth would match Texas, UGA, Ohio State. Not saying it won’t, but just would have to see it.

Definitely trending in the right direction. I’ve been so impressed by the defense along with Ward. The people will talk about Ward because QBs get the headlines but that defense has looked like the Miami of old.

@@JMZ-wo3yh maybe he watched the Oregon defense give up 369 yards to a Boise State offense that averaged 5+ yards per play. Or maybe he saw the Oregon defense fail to get a 3rd down stop against the Boise offense 47% of the time. 🤷♂️

@@JMZ-wo3yh the big run helped the yardage stats for sure, but Boise had 19 first downs, so it wasn’t like that 70 yard run was the only success.

I've watched both Oregon State games and believe me. They look really balanced this year. I look forward to the Beavs giving the Ducks a run for the money in Corvallis. Beavs to win outright with the dual running backs and Ducks show serious ineptitude continuing to happen for them.

It’s hard to think of a potential Champion to have a chance to be upset by an FCS team. Even in week one. ORs fan hope is that there coach was keeping it vanilla. If that’s not the case then they hope the coach will do the necessary changes to be better. Folks fail to realize that BSU will be doing the same thing especially with there defense. I can’t see BSU winning but these numbers y’all come up with are crazy! I think both team will score a lot.

Harold Perkins was getting through our OLine during fall camp. I have no doubt he will be able to get to moss and make a giant impact in this game. If our dline can just be serviceable and not get pushed around, we will win this game in the trenches.
