Anyway, my guitar/banjo "related" question has to do with a testimonial I read that you wrote for a Dr. Nathan around 2009. Are you the same Doug Mattocks that wrote that testimonial? If so, I have the same issue as a guitarist and seeing you play so well is very inspirational for me! If you didn't write that testimonial, then my apologies... If you are having trouble with your hands because of Dupuytren's Contracture see a hand doctor as soon as possible - the sooner you get on this the better the outcome - you want a hand doctor who can do 'Needle Aponeurotomy' (see: Cleveland Clinic.org - OR - Hand & Wrist Center in Long Beach California) The 'Hand & Wrist Medical Center' isbelieve

Hi Karen AND I do remember your parents --- they were GREAT people who I appreciated very much AND I really appreciate you getting in touch - believe it or not I'm still at Disneyland playing with two different jazz bands (when needed by their permanent players who have to have time off) and still enjoying it at the ripe old age of 71.... I've been to New Zealand many times (as well as Australia) as a comic with Holland America Cruise Line playing the banjo and doing jokes - can there be a more lucky person????
