Utter rubbish. Can't believe people are taken in by this. He can't sing on key if his life depended on it.

I had some nostalgia for this video today. It was so tough to find though, but I finally did it. Commenting here so I can find it again one day. Such great storytelling built into the video. Love it!

Crap, I was expecting this to be a cover of "Round and Round" where they used a viola instead of a guitar.

minutemen would've done something with BOC if Boon would've lived no doubt...bands absorbed into each other
@mikewines78523 жыл бұрын
Kris Scanlon 100% agree, and that is a very astute observation pertaining to the Minutemen, who were the band that changed my life or at a minimum, played a major factor in it. I know that statement sounds ridiculously lame and douchey, but it's 100% true. Nor do I, possess the wordsmith skills to word it better. BOC had a huge influence on the Minutemen. D (RIP) and Mike both mention them as one of their favorite bands. As well as other classic rock bands like Van Halen and CCR. Covered a Steely Dan song as well. Everyone into rock/punk/metal etc. is influenced in some ways by classic rock, they're lying if they say they are not. I dug how the Minutenen totally admit to liking777 those bands, when, in most underground circles, a lot of the dinosaur classic rock bands are really not that cool. Although for classic rock, CCR BOC and early Roth NOT Hagar Van Halen are all very good rock bands who created a distinct original sound of their own. Apologize for rambling, but my music dorkiness took over and couldn't shut up.

Yeah, who the hell is on vocals for this version? It's not Page (or maybe I've finally lost it). I mean, I definitely like the music for it --the verses at least - it's got that Helmet sound with that nice drop D bass that I love, but the vocals are throwing me off.

Do you know what the annoying instrumental that plays throughout the original version in the right channel is? Electric guitar, synthesizer? Which there was a remaster taking that instrument out of the mix. Again, this is on the original version. I'd be curious to know what you think it is.
