having played the rest of the game this game really drops the ball and break their own leg tripping on it. absolutely uninteresting i was about to sleep. and this is coming from someone who loved true colors.

This game would be S tier if it changed one thing, the tone. If max was constantly locked in on the mission, and not snapping photos of cats during a fucking home invasion, it wouldnt break the immersion so much, and this would feel creepy as hell. They couldnt even have Safi rush and knock down Max, they literally just cut to her running past max while max was frozen in place... what? WHAT??? Man hell naw.

I gotta admire the way this game is baking Sheera's brain. That doesn't happen often. Usually the Sheerangan is on point. Personally, I think there is no "Second max". (I'm saying this before watching chapter 3). I think there's only 1 Max, and a Shapeshifter. I don't think the Shapeshifter knows that Max has abilities at all. I think the Shapeshifter is someone that Safi did wrong, maybe accidentally "murdered" - like that one girl they mentioned. If someone were betrayed, they would have tears in their eyes as they shot down their betrayer. I don't think the Shapeshifter is switching timelines at all. I think they've been present all along and for some reason, people just aren't noticing her. I also think the Shapeshifter is the 'effin cat! My personal theory is it's Safi's ex "friend" who "disappeared". I think Safi got several people to help her cover up something related to that girl's disappearance. And now, the "Shapeshifter" is targeting those people. That's why Gwen is getting swept up in things (and always seemsultra-pricklyy when questions are asked).

It's a pleasure to see this licence again. But this one wasn't made by the same developers (Deck Nine), there are a few inconsistencies and they didn't respect Chloé, alas! Life is strange 2 was just as good, I hope you've played it ;) Just so you know, we're also waiting for Lost Record: Bloom and Rage, which comes out in January 2025 and is the spiritual sequel to Life is Strange. Made by Don't nod, the same developers as the first Life is strange!
