I'm born and raised here...I have moved away at least 5 times in my lifetime...but always end up coming back home to Molokai. No traffic lights, no malls...just easy island living. Yes it is very laid back and as you drive out of the Molokai Airport in Hoolehua you will be greeted with a sign that says, "Slow down...keep Molokai, Molokai"

+Edwin Mendija Hi Edwin - Did you ever know the Hindley family? Norman was a teacher at the high school for a number of years in the 70's. He has since passed away and I would love to run into someone who had him as a teacher or as a friend. He moved to Molokai when I was just about 5 years old and lived there ever since (he moved to Oahu in '84 to teach at Punaho).

I heard Molokai is not very touristy, just the way I like it. Hoping to hang out with some of the locals is a good way of enjoying the place. Some day soon. And that island music...OMG...I miss you Hawaii!
