Gosh, that's so sad. In this case, however, I do feel like it's just a string on unfortunate coincidences.

The one big thing missing are the replays from different angles to make the scene more dramatic.

Nah dear, Mary is so SLAYYYY💋💋💅💅💅 BTW, it would be nice if there was a mix of clips from the series where Mary was a little ice cream: a cold, yet sweet and kind person. Yesterday I watched the sixth episode of the second season (I think it's the one) and there was a nice scene. Mary, for the most part, was in the room (it was the only scene with Mary in the episode), and all the servants left Elizabeth, even the one who was in charge of looking after her while the others were away. Elizabeth began to cry in the cradle, and, when Mary heard, she stopped saying her prayers and reached the cradle. She stood there for a few minutes, and slowly took the baby in her arms and began to hold her gently and sing to her. And Lizzie stopped crying. Then, a maid came and took the baby from Mary. Elizabeth began to cry as soon as she was taken from Mary. Strange thing, in one of the past episodes, Anne Boleyn wanted to breastfeed Elizabeth (but Henry ordered a special woman to be found for that because it's not Anne's job as queen), but as soon as they gave her to Anne, Elizabeth started crying. The thing is, she cries with her own mother and anyone else, but when she's with Mary, she feels nice and safe. It seems Mary just had a gift for children.

Despite of all the capabilities of Henry as a brilliant statesman he could never hold himself from his desire which was the cause of his ultimate fall thankfully his daughter was as brilliant as him to maintain his name in the future and having none of the flaws of father being carried up in personality I also imagine how one feels when ones wife visits him from her grave and complains you on your high handness and that to when they are more than one each one torturing you in different ways...

Keith Michelle, Richard Burton and Damien Lewis are some of favourite performances as Henry VIII. Guiltily I do love Ray Winstone, it's a terrible portrayal of Henry VIII sure, but he seems to be aware of it and he makes the best of it by completely hamming it up and he's so much fun to watch.

Assumpta Serna, Yolanda Vázquez and Ana Torrent appears to be the only Spanish actresses to portray the Spanish princess and ironically they are some of the worst versions. Not their fault of course, it's the material they had to work with. Annette Crosbie, Irene Papas and Frances Cuka are wonderful in their portrayals.

Kate Phillips was great in Wolf Hall, I can't wait to see show she portrays the rest of Jane's story in the new season. With so many recastings of the supporting characters in the new season, I'm glad Kate was able to come back.

I wish they'd kept the scene with Anne of Cleves and Holbein! It demonstrates how sheltered she was, and how much of a culture shock Henry's court would have been for her.

Is someone in the room with Henry before his wives' apparitions show up? The man writing at the desk? Or is he a vision of his own, of Henry in his prime? I can't imagine if it were a real person they wouldn't say something about Henry talking to nothing.

I find it really ironic that Henry wanted a son so bad and that both his illegitimate son and his legitimate son both died at 16. While his daughters lived well into adulthood and Elizabeth became one of England’s greatest monarchs.

3:32 Conclusion: When doing a historical drama, BE HISTORICALLY ACCURATE, PLEASE! Don't add nonsense. Like, she kissed Jane Seymour, was an adulterer, a brat, and peed her pants at an execution. Is there anything historically accurate? I don't think so.
