Joey is one of the masters of that time, God bless him.

I love this song and this might be the best I've ever heard it sung. And that extended guitar solo is beautiful.

Strange video description as 'Broken and Blue' is on their 'Real Gone' album that came out last year (2023).

who's the bass player ? also is that Woody on drums ?
@amazingmusic73532 ай бұрын
That is Woody on drums. The bass player is Tom Bluett. Not sure if that is the correct spelling.

One summer night,in the mid ‘70s , I was at The Dairy Bar in Whitley City, Ky. It had car hops that brought your food to the car. My friends and I were eating just as Baby Blue came on the outside speakers and at the same instant Donnie Foster pulled up beside us in his baby blue ford maverick, and on the back of the trunk lid he had painted “BABY BLUE” in white letters. The Dairy Bar is still open,and when I hear Baby Blue,I think back 50 years. I can close my eyes and it’s just like I’m there. The 1970’s were the BEST. And we had the BEST MUSIC EVER. 😊

Badfinger songs should be played into eternity. TY for playing these timeless songs in front of newer fans as well as us oldsters who were with you from the start. Ok, I was a toddler, but my parents played your stuff. I bypassed kids songs and right into rock. Great times!

I saw them in the spring of 1972 in the Stadthalle in Heidelberg, Germany. Saw them again at the 2nd British Rock Meet (400,000 to 600,000 in attendance) with Rory Gallagher, Pink Floyd and dozens of others. I still listen to them to this day. One of the best. Good to see Mick is still alive and kicking.
