I drove through there last night... no charge... just a long line down every street in the neighborhood. It took just about an hour.

No charge but on the busiest nights there are occasionally people dressed up like Santa taking donations. All of the proceeds go to a family in the neighborhood that needs support. Kids with cancer, the passing of a parent, etc. They've done some pretty amazing things over the years to support the community. Not to mention the joy it brings to the season.

Why is that?

Crime in the city of Atlanta is 30% higher than Dallas. Mostly due to the aftermath of George Floyd riots, defund the police initiatives and COVID lockdowns. Black population in Dallas is 28% compared to 48% in Atlanta. The main stream media was very successful in their campaign to create animosity amongst the black population across the country. Judging by Trump’s significant increase in support by black men in particular, it seems as though people are tired of the race baiting. Despite the dense urban city center issues with crime, the surrounding suburbs have exploded due to the low crime, great schools and proximity to all the best Atlanta has to offer. Cheers! 🍻
