Jero-San actually looks good in a kimono. Black guys can usually pull it off well. White guys generally look kinda goofy in kimonos but some pull it off well also.

I'm half black and Japanese. Never had to deal with racism or discrimination when I lived there in the early 70's to 1977. I was treated like a princess by all Japanese people. It didn't happen till I came stateside. Either way, I'm proud of him! He's doing well and very well liked more than he is disliked! He is an awesome singer and I hope to hear him collaborate with MIYAKO HARUMI, I think that would be awesome!! P.S. RIP Misora Hibari!

We do not discriminate you guys just because you're foreign. We just don't know how to treat you because you are minorities in Japan. I think most of European countries have serious discriminational issues.

In the 60s & 70s we grew up with the Charlie Brown comics & cartoons with the concept of the "Great" American. In "Bon Voyage Charlie Brown" the gang went to Paris for an exchange. Nobody except Peppermint Patty knew enough French to communicate or made and effort. The food wasn't right. And then the story of C. Brown's father who served in the USAF in France during the war when he met Violet's father. Not the typical American who travels abroad and expect other people to accommodate his ways.

I just found out about Jero today, and just hearing a few seconds of his soothing voice and seeing his handsome face made me a huge fan. Wow~I've never been a fan before...... Feels good ._.
