Flash alert doesn’t give live alerts like being able to listen to the scanner gave. Flash alerts have been days later and are only certain events. I hadn’t heard about the robbery at the marijuana store or the ATM. As well as a few months ago the FBI was at the troutdale on point and I haven’t heard anything about that. The public doesn’t get the same information as the news as well as not as quickly.
