1:33 i’m thinking of the situation but with someone that is work obsessed and with someone that is OK with work but prefer quality times with their loved ones anyway too many people stay in relationships with others that don’t put in the work or energy into it as they do and then make excuses for their partners “oh, he’s just tired.” Or “He’s not really a giftgiving type.” And “He has a hard time talking about his emotions” honestly when people say that I’m just hearing He doesn’t appreciate you and doesn’t care about whether you guys are spending time together or whether you feel special on what’s supposed to be special occasion, such as anniversary or bdays and on top of that, he doesn’t know how to express his emotions, especially when he’s angry? He’s gonna talk to you however he wants when he’s mad and then gaslight you into thinking you were in the wrong or play the victim?? Too many people are takers and not givers it’s supposed to be both equally not one or the other

This is so well put and well said. I 100% agree it’s important to recognize when you are only getting in a relationship and if someone cares for you they are also going to want to you to receive the same amount of attention and love they are getting from you. If the person in your relationship does not care to show you that they love and value you even after you have communicated it or even before the communication it’s not worth it at all to stick around.

@@nanaosei-wusu yes maybe people have gotten too comfortable being mistreated whether that was in childhood or past relationships but they have become used to being in a bad situation and actually prefer it because that’s all they feel they deserve and that becomes their comfort zone but we all need to break the cycle

@@nanaosei-wusu oh my girl you will fall in LOVE with having a dog they are truly God’s gift especially to people that struggle with mental illness. They are like someone that will stick by you. Personally, I just wanna adopt every single dog in the world now that’s ever been mistreated (my dog is currently snoring right next to me😊)

3:03 this is so true I put so much effort into learning piano, literally 6 to 9 hours of practice every single day but since I had no one to teach me and couldn’t afford classes I didn’t get the results I wanted and was extremely disappointed, but then I realized I actually did enjoy piano and process of learning. Now I’m starting to really enjoy the journey getting into new things.
