I have an orion studio synergy core interface and neve 5059. I’m using ableton for a daw and i’m not sure how to get channels 1-16 mono into the neve so i can use it to set levels and pans. Any idea how to set up the routing for this?

CENTRAL question: Are those kits and sounds unique to Central, or are they an excerpt from other NI packages. For instance, if I already own a certain KOMPLETE package… does it still make sense to buy Central?
@FizzENT
@FizzENT 2 күн бұрын
I'm not entirely sure. From what it sound like is that they borrow certain sounds across their many expansions, and create a new patch/preset. In other words although the sample might be the same, the tone or the effect on the sample is different. However they do it it seems pretty cool to experience a glimpse of almost everything from stuff that might not be in Komplete packages.

Thanks for the video but it is not clear if I can use maschine plus or mk3 to connect via USB A the external hard disk from which to read the libraries or expansions both with M+ in standalone or as a controller. Which connections, which operations to do to see and use the hard disk both on Maschine + and on maschine 2 with M+ as a controller to which I connect the hard disk via USB.
@FizzENT
@FizzENT 2 күн бұрын
Thank you. Yeah this video basically is for those who want to understand external HDD VS SSD and why it's important to get a SSD when working with Maschine. To your question, you can use USB A to connect flash drives or hard drives as long as it's properly format to store your audio content.

Thanks for your reply and interest. But I wanted to understand better. Basically if on an external and formatted HD I insert for example NI expansions like Free form, Opaline drift, Global shake... etc.. can I load them with M+ in standalone and also from Maschine 2 or 3 from PC without these expansions being loaded on the SD card of M+ or loaded on the PC hard disk? If so, what is the procedure to see the contents of the external HD and load them both with M+ in standalone or in controller mode? Thank you very much. Luigi

Hi Fizz! Thanks for the vid! Do you know how to slice a sample, for example, in 4 parts (pads number 1, 2, 3 & 4) but playing then in notes? (for ex, pad 1 from C3 to D3, pad 2 from C3 to D3, pad 3 from D3 to D4...) Thanks in advance!
@FizzENT
@FizzENT 2 күн бұрын
Hi ! I'm not sure if i follow, but it sounds like you want to create a range for the notes. Once you select the pad, you will have to go to sampling, then zone and arrow over until you see map and you can select the key lo and key hi. Hope this helps

Hello, GREAT VIDEO! Thanks so much. Can you please help me with the following. I jut got a Burl B2 ADC and I wanted to ask how I would hook up the B2 ADC into my Apollo X8P so that I can mix and listen to the out put of the B2? My normal chain and bouncing option is straight from my Apollo X8P to hard disk via off-line bounce. So now heres what Ive done to accomplish this: * Clocked the Apollo to the Burl with word clock BNC (Master) * Routed output 7/8 from Apollo to analog in on BURL * Burl TOSS out to Apollo ADAT in 1 (changed Digital input in console matrix from ADAT to SPIDF) This is where Im stuck! Id like to listen to the B2 while producing/mixing. I would also like to track thru BURL while recording vocals. Im thinking of putting the the BURL and the Apollo out 7/8 on to a patch-bay. So I can accomplish this. Thanks in advance

Ironically enough. Like, the update to maschine is cheap and I’m sure it’ll get better as time goes on. But for the fact that we waited for a long time and got so little for it is kind of a let down. I at least use my maschine with fl studio so I’m not too bummed out but for those that use purely maschine, it’s a huge disappointment.

The intended use for this lav mic is for smartphones. When plugging it in to a device such as zoom H4n it will require plug-in power along with the correct TRS connection. So I'm taking a TRRS to TRS so that the audio signal can be heard clearly.

Hmm still there a lot of clicks and faff before you get the end result. I could achieve a much cleaner and better result using logics Flex Time and convert to midi in less than 15 secs. But hey I get it.. not everyone has Logic and this is machine so peeps have to make do. Well done NI for being ahead of the game I guess.. 😂

One thing I noticed (I have this library) When playing sustained notes with the likes of the flute or tin whistle and fiddle as well, the sample loops are very annoyingly obvious and often render the sounds unusable. Still quite a powerful library.

I have a question so since 3.0 I haven’t been able to record the audio from my hardware synth into maschine. I’ve tried to changed the setting and everything and it still haven’t worked. Did you have an issue like that ? And what is a solution to fixing this. My interface is an antelope audio discrete 4. It use to work perfect with machine 2.18 but now it’s doesn’t. I can hear the synth but I can’t record into the software for some reason. Help lol

@@FizzENT that’s the problem. Native instruments fired all their good software engineers. So the skeleton crew that was left. Is just patching old outdated code. Instead of building new more efficient streamlined programs. They lack the resources. Native instruments (maschine traktor). Are old sinking ships. That just get patched. They both are running old old legacy outdated code.

Honest and serious question - I just bought into the ecosystem. S61 Mk3 and have Komplete 14 and Arturia V Collection. What's the advantage I'd get by adding a Machine Mikro Mk3 if the integration has begun on the S61mk3? I don't finger drum but I think it'd be nice to do for coach production as an alternative to a 25 key midi controller. I mostly am using Logic Pro 11 and currently using Logic Control on my iPad to sequence and that kind of thing. Like it but it's still a convenient compromise to feeling hardware. Thinking about just spending the $29 on Machine 3 software but $200 for Mikro and Central software included kind of has me thinking.
