Wheel loaders are for different applications. This is not a bulldozer. This is a 973 track loader track loaders get more traction because I have tracks. I don’t depend off rubber tires. It’s the same concept just one has tracks and the other one has tires one for asphalt, pavement, and concrete roadwork this one is for dirt work

He’s doing it to reduce ground disturbance. Track loaders will make quite a mess of the ground turning tight so he’s making those turns nice and gradual to avoid that. With a flow of trucks like he’s got there and the speed he’s able to load it’s not slowing him down, if anything it’s saving extra time spent on cleanup

We must return back to track loader...perfect machines for job like this and many others, can do the job of an excavator a dozer and a loader. No tire spin, good confort for the back of the operator etc...simply perfect

What is the point of wheel loaders ?.Buldozer have way more pushing power than any wheel loader same ,or simillar,size ....add on buldozer loading bucket like this ,and u can forget any wheel loader ,i honestly see no point using wheel loader ...

I agree. Wheel loaders are good for utilities trenches backfilling on hard ground and snowplowing. Other than that, people are only pushing wheel loaders on jobs that they struggle on. Crawler loaders are very under utilized because of ignorance.

The point of a wheel loader is they are much cheaper to maintain. No steel undercarriage to wear out.

Wheeled shovels are for Quarry work and Sand Gravel operations on hard ground. Tracks for Muck Tyres for Hard Standing

Very much resembles a Cat high track from a distance obviously a few patents have lapsed. I wonder how the hydrostatics would handle the high ambient temperatures in Northern Australia! Remains to be seen.

How come the Terex loaders were sluggish when. It came to their speed?? When you look at a Terex and compare it to something like a cat, the cat seems to drive faster, is that just how Terex geared the engines?
