In a word - NO. Never fly World2fly. They are a complete disaster. On our flight from Madrid to Havana (Jan 2025) they managed to lose almost everybody's luggage. Chaotic scenes at Havana airport as people waited hours for luggage that never arrived. Losing one bag is understandable - but losing HUNDREDS of bags is sheer incompetence. Do NOT fly this airline

He asked if you needed help because you requested to sit at the back - he thought you were insane. When these aircraft entered service they couldn’t sell tickets for the two rear rows - they were unbearably loud. (Also when they entered service they couldn’t fly them when it rained because they leaked so badly). 😂
@DiscoverWithTwo6 күн бұрын
In hindsight that might have been the reason why he asked if I need help, initially he gave me row 7 and I asked if I can sit all the way at the back he did look a bit puzzled 🤣

COMAC’s predecessor had some experience building licensed MD80s/90s at its Shanghai factory back in the 80s and 90s. Production stopped after McDonnell Douglas merged with Boeing. The C909/ARJ21 is the modernised version of that, with a new wing designed by Antonov and uses the same engines as the CRJ900 and E190. The C909 was never meant to be an innovation by its own right. It was more of a stepping stone toward acquiring the expertise needed in developing China’s first narrow body mainline aircraft, the C919.

Sitting in the back will give you a nightmare or cause you to become deaf because of its loud engine noise!!
@DiscoverWithTwo7 күн бұрын
Yes it’s a bit loud… I asked to sit in the back so you can see the wing and the engines, the ground staff told me it isn’t a good seat since they gave me one at the front first 😁
@chiaojian61227 күн бұрын
@ I had flown in many different types of tail engined aircraft before, they ranged from the following models: B727, DC9/MD82/MD83, MD90, CRJ100/200/700, Fokker F28/100, ERJ140/145, DC10/MD11, L1011. All the above models had two common serious problems, 1) enormous high noise level and 2) Jet fuel fumes accumulated inside the tail cabin section. But you know what, people sat in the front side normally had much less cabin noises!!!
@DiscoverWithTwo7 күн бұрын
@ I do think it’s quiet in the front although I found the AC noise also rather high even with the engines off on the C909. Wish I would have flown all these models especially L1011/DC10/B727 but that’s never going to happen
@chiaojian61227 күн бұрын
@ you wouldn’t want to fly with one of those aircraft because the noise level is crazy loud (old insulation materials wasn’t as good as what we have in current days)and especially that toxic fume (LH1011), my goodness it was horrible! Of course the plane looks new! It’s barely flown! Some are comparing to the Boeing but consider how many hours the Boeing are flown and how many airlines in the world fly them daily. This TU 204 may be a great airplane, no doubt, but you need to compare apples to apples.
